Arianny , appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?

I was cleaning out my closet and decided to post stories with links to sell my clothes . Most of them still had tags on them or were only one once . I got a great response to my stories – especially by men who wanted to buy for their wives /girlfriends. The is how girlfriendbox was created.

We cater to men buying for their girlfriends or wives. The gifts include beauty favs ,fashion items and jewelry! They can also schedule special dates like birthday and anniversary so they don’t forget !

I started the company with a girlfriend and we were doing the sourcing , billing , shipping housing and I was also doing the marketing and modeling on top of that . It was a lot and we eventually burned out . We decided to split ways and bought her out of the company. It was hard but I needed to hire a company to help me . Asking for help is always hard for me !

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I had just started working for ufc in 2006and I notice the more events I did the more popular I got . I created all my social media and started using that as a way of promoting myself and my events . This lead on to my personal calendars and fan merchandise .
