Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ariana Saucedo. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Ariana, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?
The name, Ari Creates Art, came about through a simple conversation with one of my instructors from Full Sail. At the time, I was in the works of a rebranding, and through that came the question of: “what will my new name be? is that something I should change?”
When I started photography, about 7 years ago, It was ‘Ariana Raquel Photos’ , and although that being my name, it wasn’t something that resonated with me as I captured more and connected with all of my clients. Once I spoke to my instructor about my rebrand and the thoughts of changing my name, her and I bounced back for almost a week with potential names: Saucy photos (strong contender), Ari Photos, AR Photography. Eventually the day came where the light bulb turned on, and as I was presenting an assignment, I stated something along the lines of how I’ve always felt that I had an eye for creating art through my lens, and through that, she pulled me aside and proposed “Ari Creates Art.”
It became the name from there on out, resonating with every client and moment I have been able to capture.
Ariana, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am Ari, also known as Ari Creates Art. I was Born and raised in Tampa, FL , loving everything about art, fashion, and Photography! The story of how I started photography isn’t very straight forward because there were so many moments and reasons as to why I started photography; I did start in 2017 with my mini family trips and snapping photos of sites we saw over the years. Portraits became my forefront subject once I started photography class in High School and learned about the basics and rules of photography. From there the rest was history; I began taking self portraits and sharing them on my page in 2020, which lead to the build-up of my clientele over time!
At the moment, I capture Weddings (both near and destination), engagement, Couples, maternity, grads, and more! My Style stemmed from Fashion and editorial work, and it will always be the foundation of my art. I always say my photos are meant to leave a stamp on your heart, connect people in beautiful ways, and fill that blank space on your wall. I hope that all my clients and potential new clients know how excited and willing I am to make their visions come to life and freeze the beautiful moments in photos; it’s always my pleasure to do so and be a part of such memorable moments.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
the most rewarding moments is seeing the clients so overjoyed from the gallery and get emotional of how special they come out; it fills this special place in my heart and I’ll never get enough.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
My audience and community grew the most after sharing my self portraits over the Quarantine. I would share the photos and the process of how I took, edited, and created collages with them; overtime, more people were interested in how it was done and where I was creating all the content (since we were all stuck inside). Within this, I connected with everyone sharing my tips & tricks, advice, and one-on-one virtual workshops on how to take your own self portraits. over that time, I slowly began to receive more questions about who took my photos, and once I told them I did them myself, they immediately wanted to book and work together! Now, having such a supportive and loving community, I’ve learned the things they enjoy seeing from me and how to connect deeper through social media! whether it’s sharing my behind the scenes, testimonials from my clients, the final products in different deliverables, or even sharing personal experiences that warmed my heart, I always strive to connect with them while showing what Ari Creates Art truly stands for.
