Arella, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
I’ve always been creative since I was young and loved singing. I always felt like my true self wherever I expressed myself in this way. It is one of my greatest passions and something I will always do.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I have been passionate about singing my whole life. There is this euphoric feeling it gives me, especially when I put my whole soul into a song. I feel so much freedom when I sing, and it is one of my most natural forms of expression. It is also very therapeutic for me and allows me to just really be myself.
I am still re-discovering myself as an artist and molding my sound and image. But when I do release new music, I want it to be something that defines who I am as an artist and feels authentic to myself. I get a lot of inspiration from Lana Del Rey, Amy Lee from Evanescence, Amy Winehouse, and Adele. They have always been a few of my favorite singers.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
I love the process of just creating music, or any form of art. For me personally, it feels like something I’d never get tired of and could do every day, because I truly love it. It is just a part of who I am.
Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
I have almost all of Neville Goddard’s collection of books. I’m not sure if my audience knows of his work, since he was around quite back in the day, but he has personally helped me a lot with self identity and mindset shifts.
