We recently connected with Areanna The Brand Expertand have shared our conversation below.

Hi Areanna, thanks for joining us today. Before we talk about all of your success, let’s start with a story of failure. Can you open up about a time when you’ve failed?

As a growing purposeful business owner, I have experienced recently one of the most disheartening experiences in my career. I was accused of stealing another designers work and was ridiculed by this person on social media.

The way it made me feel was angry and hurt because people actually believed her. I lost followers, my engagement seemed to decrease and clients weren’t showing up to our consultations.

I started to feel dismissed, a failure in something I worked so hard to build only to have someone misinterpret me and tear me down.

It was one of the toughest times in my personal life; so of course it added fuel to that fire.

Trying to find an attorney to assist me was extremely difficult but nevertheless, I continued to pray and ask God for guidance.

I kept my faith, and I stayed resilient. If anyone is dealing with this, it has taught me to just keep my head down and FOCUS. The work has not been completed, it has just only begun.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Areanna and I consider myself a break out Strategist. I’m new to the field but the wisdom and passion that I have has been an anointing that I am blessed to accept.

I’ve been in this design world for 2 1/2 years now with overcoming great hurdles. It started as only a hobby that I made a full time career out of. I enjoy branding for women in business because as women, we seem to have it the hardest in life.

Fighting for equality, fighting for good men, just fighting for our lives in general. I have a soft space for helping women accomplish their dreams, and knowing that I am helping in any way gives me great comfort.

I help add value boss women’s brands by opening their eyes to seeing what a great strategy and visuals can do for their own careers.

I’ve helped women sell out within days after revamping websites, I’ve helped women get the fire back underneath them. Doing this everyday is what I do and I can’t see myself doing anything else.

That is why I am here, to help you see that your dreams of success can be accomplished. All you need is a Strategy.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

I’ve had to pivot in my business when I saw that my target audience at the time was no longer serving me. It was tearing me down to work with lower vibrational people because the process and mindset that they had was making me feel as if I was talking to a brick wall.

It was that moment that I knew if I wanted fulfillment that’s I had to revamp my own brand and increase my value and prices.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

I had to quickly learn that if I wanted to reach the women I was desperately wanting to work with, I had to form systems and operations!

You absolutely cannot run a business without them.
