April, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with education – we’d love to hear your thoughts about how we can better prepare students for a more fulfilling life and career.

There is a need to modify the educational setting and maintain the presence of activity centers for kids. Studies have shown that boys tend to learn better in a dynamic and physically stimulating environment compared to girls. Therefore, it would be beneficial to establish centers that cover the same topics and lessons, but employ varying approaches. For instance, Center 1 could follow a traditional setting with a calm and seated atmosphere, while Center 2 could utilize gesture-based technology to encourage students to move their bodies while learning. Additionally, Center 3 could adopt a laboratory-style environment where students can practice the lessons instead of just reading about them.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

From a young age, I have had a strong desire to pursue a career in business law. During my high school years, I demonstrated academic excellence and was rewarded with a full academic scholarship to Wesleyan College in Georgia. I changed my major to Business Studies while continuing to develop my skills in the art of negotiations and contract writing. I eventually enlisted in the Air Force, working in finance, to serve the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives to protect our freedom. I have also worked at several Fortune 500 companies with over two decades of experience in Procurement, Operations, and Logistics. Additionally, I have my Masters in Supply Chain Management which allows me to understand how to provide alternative solutions when the answer is “no”. As of recently, I am a full-time Realtor with a mission to serve my community. I offer a personalized service that is tailored to each individual client. I truly love what I do! I am most passionate about educating my clients on generational wealth objectives and applying best practices to decrease the stress associated when buying real estate. I have in-depth knowledge of the DFW area, which encompasses property values, schools, neighborhoods, and more. I’m also well-versed in the process of buying and selling, including local and state real estate laws and common practices. Furthermore, I am here to answer any questions that arise. For instance, what is the contrast between pending and contingent? Why is title insurance necessary? How thorough should disclosure forms be filled out? I am a subject matter expert and can explain these topics with confidence and expertise.

Every year, I host a Christmas Banquet in honor of my clients. This special event is only open to those who have been my clients, regardless of whether they are current or previous. It serves as an opportunity for me to not only celebrate and show my appreciation towards them, but it also strengthens our bond and establish myself as a familiar name among my clients and their loved ones.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?

As a devout Christian and I firmly believe that God has provided me with all the necessary tools for my journey. I trust that He blesses those who seek Him diligently and I hold onto His promise that prioritizing Him will lead to an abundant life. My faith and belief in manifestation guide my actions and words. I also enjoy listening to Lisa Nichols, whom I have never personally met, nonetheless, she serves as a mentor from afar. I find inspiration and transformation through her books and YouTube videos. I am reminded that as long as I am receptive to learning, I can make any knowledge my own.
