Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to April Eskew. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
April, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?
I saw so many talented beauty professionals struggling to find modern, professional spaces that reflected the quality of their work. That’s when the idea for Tier1 Salon Suites was born. I wanted to create a place where stylists, lash techs, and estheticians could not only run their own businesses but feel proud of the environment they worked in.
At first, it was just an idea in my notes app. The next day, I started researching — zoning laws, salon licensing requirements in Georgia, and what it would actually take to get approved by the state board. Within a month, I was touring potential buildings and calling contractors to get renovation quotes. I had to learn about plumbing, suite layouts, and even soundproofing, things I had never dealt with before.
Once I found the right space, I spent nights sketching floor plans and days sourcing furniture and fixtures that fit the luxury aesthetic I envisioned. While construction was happening, I built the brand identity — logo, website, social media presence, and marketing strategy. I created promotional materials, reached out to local stylists, and started pre-leasing suites before the doors were even open.
The first few months were a blur of permits, inspections, and late nights, but I stayed focused on the vision. When we finally launched, every detail — from the gold-accented mirrors to the personalized suite signage — reflected the brand I had dreamed about.
That process of turning an idea into a real, thriving business taught me how to take bold ideas and ground them in strategy, research, and execution. It wasn’t overnight, it took consistent action, problem-solving, and resilience but seeing the first tenants move in made it all worth it.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is April Eskew, and I’m the founder of Tier1 Salon Suites, Thee Lash Galleria, and WhiteChart, a growing family of beauty and lifestyle brands based in Georgia. My journey into entrepreneurship started from a deep passion for beauty, empowerment, and independence — and a strong desire to create opportunities for others to thrive in the same industry that shaped me.
I started out as a beauty professional who understood firsthand the challenges of finding professional, high-quality spaces and resources to grow. That experience inspired me to build Tier1 Salon Suites — a modern, luxurious environment where stylists, estheticians, lash techs, and other beauty professionals could confidently run their own businesses. Each suite is designed to feel upscale yet functional, helping beauty entrepreneurs focus on their craft without the stress of overhead or limitations.
From there, I launched Thee Lash Galleria, a premium lash supply brand that serves both new and seasoned lash artists. We focus on providing high-quality, professional lash products, tools, and accessories that enhance performance and elevate artistry. What sets us apart is our focus on community — we don’t just sell supplies, we provide education, mentorship, and motivation to lash techs who are building their brands and clientele.
Now, I’m preparing to launch WhiteChart, a medical and beauty apparel line that brings style, confidence, and sophistication to professionals in healthcare and cosmetology. The collection is designed with luxury fabrics, flattering fits, and elevated details — because I believe professionals should feel as good as they look while doing the work they love.
What truly sets my brands apart is the experience and intention behind everything I create. Each business was built with a purpose — to solve real problems I once faced: lack of resources, lack of access to quality spaces, and lack of representation in professional beauty and medical wear. My mission is to empower others to elevate their standards, their image, and their businesses.
I’m most proud of the impact — seeing women and men walk into Tier1 to sign their first lease for a suite, or open a Lash Galleria package knowing it’s helping them step into entrepreneurship. Watching others grow and knowing I played a part in that story is the most rewarding feeling.
If there’s one thing I want people to know about my work, it’s that it’s built with purpose, passion, and vision. Every brand I create is rooted in empowerment, luxury, and excellence. I want my clients and followers to know that when they support my brands, they’re supporting more than a business — they’re joining a movement of professionals committed to leveling up, creating freedom, and redefining success on their own terms.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One of the most defining moments in my journey came when I was working to open my very first Tier1 Salon Suites location. I had the vision clear in my mind — modern, luxury suites designed for beauty professionals to grow their businesses — but the process of bringing that dream to life was far from easy.
When I first found the building, it wasn’t anything close to what I imagined. The space needed major renovations, permits, plumbing work — you name it. I faced unexpected construction delays, financial obstacles, and moments when things just didn’t go according to plan. There were nights I sat in the unfinished building surrounded by dust and tools, wondering if I had taken on too much.
But instead of giving up, I reminded myself why I started — to create a space for others like me who needed an opportunity to grow. I taught myself how to navigate business licenses, negotiate contracts, and manage budgets on my own. I was calling inspectors one minute and designing logos the next. Every setback forced me to become more resourceful, creative, and determined.
When I finally opened those doors, standing in that fully finished space felt surreal — not because it was perfect, but because I knew how hard I had fought to make it real. That experience taught me that resilience isn’t about things going smoothly; it’s about moving forward even when they don’t.
Since then, every new venture — from launching Thee Lash Galleria to preparing for WhiteChart — has carried that same spirit. No matter what obstacles come, I’ve learned that perseverance, faith, and purpose always lead to progress.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I believe my reputation was built on a combination of consistency, authenticity, and quality. From the beginning, I made it my mission to not only provide a service or product — but to deliver an experience. Whether it’s the polished professionalism of Tier1 Salon Suites, the premium product quality of Thee Lash Galleria, or the upcoming sophistication of WhiteChart, everything I create reflects a standard of excellence that people can feel the moment they interact with the brand.
What truly helped establish my reputation was how I showed up — even before I was “ready.” I stayed visible, shared my journey transparently, and connected with my audience as a real person. I talked about the process — the long nights, the risks, the excitement of building something from scratch — and people connected with that honesty. That authenticity built trust.
Another major factor was attention to detail and brand presentation. I invest heavily in visuals, packaging, and environments that tell a story of luxury and empowerment. Every logo, photo, and post has intention behind it — and that level of polish set my businesses apart in a crowded industry.
But more than anything, my reputation grew because I truly care about the people I serve. I don’t just rent suites or sell products — I help beauty professionals and entrepreneurs elevate their careers, build confidence, and create financial freedom. That impact goes beyond business — it creates loyalty, referrals, and long-term relationships.
I’m most proud that my name has become associated with excellence, empowerment, and elevation. It didn’t happen overnight — it came from years of showing up with integrity, delivering real value, and never lowering my standards, no matter the challenge
