Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Apeksha & Aakriti Wadhwani. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Apeksha & Aakriti, thanks for joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
We started That Graze Plate out of the underlying joy of celebrating with those we love, making every little and big moment that much more special. Nothing brings people together like food, gathered around a table, laughing and connecting. We wanted to highlight our love language of sharing pretty food in the hopes of being a part of priceless memories in others’ lives.

Apeksha & Aakriti, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
As a sister-owned company, we bring a lot of similar traits and key differences to the table (which is covered with pretty food art of course).
Apeksha comes from a Hospitality & Tourism background, with over 15 years of hands-on industry experience in customer relationship management and food & beverage focus. She is the heart behind the cheese & charcuterie platters, bites and tables you have grown to love.
Aakriti on the other hand (and other side of the globe in London), has been in the digital space over the last 5 years working with a wide array of reputable magazine and retail brands, focusing on customer engagement and organic marketing. She is the driver behind the overall business branding, partnerships and operational customer management.
Amidst playing the balancing act of prioritising a sister-first relationship, toddlers, wedding planning and overall life admin, we find unmeasurable purpose in coming together to build this business and create for you. The art of grazing is more than just catering to us, it’s so much bigger as it involves your intimate moments, which we proudly pour so much love into.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Hands down, treating each order and client with the same attention to detail as you would for your own family or loved one. Diving into the story behind each creation helps us set ourselves apart from anything mass created and gives people a unique experience.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Word of mouth and events. Positive experiences spread quick, so our advice would be to be meticulous with customer experience and get out there and create opportunities for potential clients to experience your product. Also, events are so fun because you get to engage more! When we’re both in Tampa working on the business, we love this aspect!
