We caught up with the brilliant and insightful AP Rasic a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, John thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?

You have to be consistent. Consistency is key at all times. When you start to lack consistency you start to overthink and fall behind. You need the mindset to stay hungry hustle don’t stop.

John, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I got in the industry because of my brother when I was younger he always thought I should rap and i never took it serious. Once he got locked up he told me all he wanted was for me to make one song before he came home, and it went from there. I think what sets me apart from others is the creativity and imagination, and how I piece my words together. I’m proud that I was able to do my first music video and drop my first solo ep. I have more on the way it’s in store next year is going to be big.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

The consistency and always doing something for the fans and for the people in the community. Also the people around get the word around & support me in the most helpful way possible.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

Knowing there’s no limit on where I can take me and my folks.
