We were lucky to catch up with Anyea Thompson recently and have shared our conversation below.

Anyea , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?

During the early years of the pandemic I started A Sunglass business and I needed Consistent graphics for it . So I started Off by diy my own brand , then once I started diy my own brand other business owners would ask me and I started Doing it for free because it just was a hobby . 2 years into my Sunglass business I started my own graphic design business . Now 4 years later I’ve stopped selling Sunglass & am a full time graphic designer .

My name is Anyea’ otherwise known as TheBrandARTist . I am a brand designer & Photoshop instructor . I specialize In helping business owners brand their business from the ground up or rebranding their business to find their true identity . I help Other business owners by allowing them to have a brand message through my graphic design skills. Our services vary from logo development , e-Flyer development & website development .

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Staying consistent within my brand showed other business owners how I can Help them be consistent .

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

Starting your social media can be hard . In the beginning I created A schedule to post everyday 3x a day . Creating a schedule allowed me to stay consistent in gaining followers and showing potential clients on what I have To offer .
