We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Antonius Melton a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Antonius thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

Hi, my name is Antonius Melton Founder of CKC of WNY. CKC is a dedicated organization that provides peace, stability, and encouragement , to cancer patients and their families throughout the United States.

In 2015, I lost my father to a hard fought battle of stage 4 lung cancer. It was a devastating experience watching someone you love slowly loosing their lives and nothing could be done.

I remember having conversations with my father and him explaining how expensive it was to keep up with medical expenses such as bills and some time prescription cost’s. The day before he passed he explained that “ he wanted to live a good life. To go out in the world and be somebody” and those words stuck to me like glue.

Not long after he passed I enrolled in a two year college and obtained my degree in business and came up my business model Project CKC ( Clothing Kills Cancer ), which just received a rebrand and new profound look that is now known as CUREWORLD.

Since the beginning of the time I’ve always been a giver and had a nitch for helping people. So, through my clothing line I have a built in donation from each sale of apparel that goes directly towards helping cancer patients and their families who struggle financially.

Antonius, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is Antonius melton, I’m 39 years old and I was born an raised in Lockport, New York.

I wanted to be creative and have a very unique way that allowed people in the world to support a great cause. So with the ideal of a clothing line that would give people in the world an opportunity just by getting dressed.

Being disciplined and consistent has been the key to my success, which has given me an opportunity to make it this far. Just having faith and knowing that what I’m out to accomplish in this life time is bigger then me, and it’s people in the world who really needs me.

The products that we offer now is different styles of t-shirts with a very unique design and hoodies for both men and women. Our future goal is to expand our option of clothing and also cater to the youth and get them more involved with our mission.

I’m sure that there is thousands of people in the world who can relate to my story. What I’m most proud of, is actually having an opportunity to help make a difference no matter how big or small. I’ve helped numerous other of people in my community who struggled financially while battling cancer.

With clothing lines all over the world what separates me from others is that my mission behind my brand is to actually give back to the world, and help people who needs it the most. The problem that I solve is I help alleviate some of the financial barriers that cancer patients and their face, so they could focus on their health.

What I want all my potential clients/ followers/ and fans to know about me is that I’m really a genuine person at heart. I wear it on my sleeve. I firmly believe that this is my God given purpose in this world, and that is to help people who are battling cancer.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I initially started my audience by dancing! I created a TikTok account and that how I started to raise awareness for my cause. I would travel all over my community and dance in different area or even on street corners. I would also travel to the malls from time to time where I would also dance and create video content.

I’ve also had a small series of something I call d CKC TV. I would connect with people who were battling cancer and interview them so u could better understand their struggles battling cancer.

Any advice for managing a team?

If I could give any advice that would be to stay true to who you are and stand firm on your beliefs. We live in a time where being someone where not only causes chaos and unwanted problems. If your truthful and honest there should never be problems that you would have to deal with because a fib. Lead by example and let your character do the talking.
