We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Antonio Villares. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Antonio below.
Antonio, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So, let’s imagine that you were advising someone who wanted to start something similar to you and they asked you what you would do differently in the startup-process knowing what you know now. How would you respond?
Starting over, I would focus on creating an objective overall image of my customer before I begin. Who are they? What do they want? How do they want it? Why? How quickly? Then, I would build the foundation of my business with that as a guide. Next, I would move on to creating a comprehensive business plan from A to Z and reinforce it with a minimum viable product. Then, it would be time to share it and seek investment, starting with my family and friends. Many good investors who believe in you hide behind familiar faces.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I created ImageProArt five years ago and brought it with me when I arrived in this wonderful country. We started by selling artwork for interior decoration, and then we transitioned to creating entirely customized designs for each client and space. From homes where functionality and ergonomics are key due to limited space, to shopping centers where the focus is on visual attraction, everything operates as a mechanism centered around the client’s vision of their space. Once they connect with our team, everything revolves around their personalized design.
Once their vision is clear and objective, we guide them through every step. From purchasing everything needed for their project to the final contact with the company that best suits their needs and budget. Keeping the client at the center of their project, it’s almost as if they are creating it themselves, but with our creative tools.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
For me, what has helped me the most in building my reputation is always being there for my customers, providing them with my best service and attention in each case, and above all, consistently placing their needs as a guiding principle.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best way to reach new customers for us has always been to meet the needs of our previous clients, and they themselves recommend us to others. For example, many of our clients want items or furniture that we use to create our designs. We reached the conclusion that if we provided links to many of these items in each of the designs we posted on social media or our channels, they could acquire these resources on their own. So nowadays, many customers come to us through previous designs.
