We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Antonio & Sarabeth Acapulco. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Antonio & Sarabeth below.
Hi Antonio & Sarabeth, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
We believe that people deserve high-quality, responsibly sourced skin care products made with ingredients that they know. It is our goal, in partnership with local farmers, to reduce waste and bring farm-fresh products to people’s homes.
Having both experienced skin sensitivities and eczema, we embarked on a journey to create a high-quality soap utilizing the many benefits of goat’s milk. Many people do not know that goat’s milk is high in natural fats, vitamins A, B, C, and D, and lactic acid, which lock in moisture and do not strip your skin of its natural oils.
The importance of responsibly sourced products comes from Antonio’s experience growing up on a farm, where sustainable living was a lifestyle and necessity and byproducts did not go to waste.

Antonio & Sarabeth, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
[About ourselves]
We are Antonio and Sarabeth Acapulco. We live in Katy, TX in the outskirts of Houston. We have 4 young children and a Boston Terrier.
Antonio is originally from the Philippines and moved to the U.S. as his career in chemistry led him. He grew up in an entrepreneurial environment where his parents owned a family business. Using his experience in chemistry, Antonio manages the technical and analytical side of our small company.
Sarabeth is a teacher and works with students with hearing loss. Her career led her to gain experience in educational leadership and business management and operations. As a co-owner of Jesany and Co, she works on the creative side of the business, particularly on the aesthetics and customer experience the small business offers.
[how you got into your industry / business / discipline / craft ]
Antonio lost his job at early 2023. While he was looking and applying for jobs, he shared an idea that we could work on. Antonio told his story of growing up at his parents’ farm in the Philippines. Fresh produce, high quality in a naturally simple environment and healthier living was the norm of his everyday life. With Antonio’s entrepreneurial background and my expertise in business management and operations, we both believed that we could provide people with experience that high quality products that farmers produce. Antonio started creating a goat’s milk soap formula back in the Philippines. Now he is continuing to tailor the formula utilizing local ingredients to maximize the benefits that goat’s milk could offer to the skin. Years later, we created something special: Jesany and Co., a small business that focuses on goat’s milk self-care products.
[what type of products/services/creative works you provide]
We create handmade, small-batch goat’s milk self care products. We started with an unscented “bare,” goat’s milk soap and are expanding our product line to include various staple and seasonal scents. We recently released a goat’s milk bath bomb with lavender and vanilla essential oils. In the future, we would love to have a workspace and storefront that offers products and services, such as soap making workshops.
[what problems you solve for your clients]
We help solve the challenge of finding gentle, high-quality self-care products made with ingredients you recognize and trust. Our goat’s milk soap is crafted to be kind to sensitive skin, offering a natural alternative to harsh commercial products.
We also bridge the gap between consumers and local farms—transforming fresh, local ingredients into something you can feel good about using every day. Our customers don’t just get a great product, they get peace of mind knowing where it comes from and who it supports.
[what you think sets you apart from others]
The formula and procedure for making our soap were created from scratch by Antonio. His previous experience and advanced knowledge of chemistry, allowed us to scientifically craft our formulas to maximize the benefits of all of our soap’s ingredients. Our soap is 100% original and unique, and cannot be found in a recipe book or online. One of the things we’ve been able to accomplish through our experiments, is formulating the ratio of ingredients in the soap, in turn maximizing the benefits for the skin.
[What are you most proud of]
We are most proud of the community that we are building around Jesany and Co. It’s incredibly fulfilling to have repeat customers who not only love our products, but also share how goat’s milk has made a real difference for their skin. Hearing those testimonials mean the world to us.
We’re also proud to share our story—how we started, why we believe in what we do, and the care we put into every bar of soap. It’s a personal journey, and connecting with others through that story has been so meaningful.
Finally, attending craft fairs and farmers’ markets as a family has been a highlight. It gives us the chance to meet people face-to-face, and our kids get to see and be part of something we’re building together. These experiences reflect our family-centered values—teaching our children the importance of hard work, connection, and doing something meaningful as a team.
[what are the main things you want potential clients/followers/fans to know about you/your brand/your work/ etc.]
We want people to know that our brand is built on the belief that everyone deserves high-quality self-care products—made with simple, nourishing ingredients that truly benefit the skin.
When you support our small business, you’re not just supporting us—you’re also supporting local farmers and families behind the ingredients we use. Every bar of soap represents a network of care and community.
And most importantly, our work is deeply personal. Our story is rooted in family, passion, and a desire to create something honest and wholesome. We love sharing that journey with others and are so grateful for everyone who chooses to be part of it.

Okay – so how did you figure out the manufacturing part? Did you have prior experience?
Our products are handmade in small batches by us personally. We learned many lessons developing each product because we wanted the highest quality products out there. Each experiment, whether it be with percentages of each ingredient, introduction of scents, or which ingredients to use to target a specific outcome, provided us with valuable information to make our products better each time. It took about one year of experiments to get the formula and procedure for our “bare” goat’s milk soap to be finalized.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
In Sarabeth’s role in educational leadership, she strongly resonated with the leadership practices of the Studer Group. She has served as a mentor in her field for 10 years now and believes in building a great team, creating a positive workplace culture, and mentoring and supporting employees. As our small business grows and we build a team of our own, we hope to focus on these core principals and create a supportive workplace where staff love to be and feel supported.
