We were lucky to catch up with Antonio Harrison recently and have shared our conversation below.
Antonio, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
Growing up in a small town, I never imagined I would one day work alongside one of the greatest producers of all time or help grow an entertainment company with platinum artists and producers like Blac Youngsta, 42 Dugg, Tahj Money, Hitman Audio, and SS Money. My journey actually began in the military—I had dreams of a 20-year career serving my country. However, after an injury forced me to reconsider that path, I found myself at a crossroads.
In that moment of uncertainty, I prayed and asked God for direction. I vividly remember the clarity of His answer—it was as if He was telling me directly to pursue a career in music. That was the turning point for me, where I let go of one dream and embraced a new one, trusting that this was the path I was meant to follow.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Getting into the music industry was truly nothing short of a miracle. I had no prior experience or knowledge of the music business, yet that didn’t stop me from taking a leap of faith. I submitted a resume to Soul Asylum Studios in Atlanta under the guidance of Raphael Capone, and it was there that I eventually met my business partner, Julien Anderson. This moment became a pivotal step in my journey.
Today, I offer marketing services to high-profile producers, artists, and celebrities. My daily routine is built on discipline: I start my day at 5:30 a.m., work out, pray, and focus on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. What sets me apart is my refusal to quit, no matter how challenging the situation. I always find a way to win, no matter the odds.
To potential clients, followers, and fans, I want you to know that I am committed to being the best version of myself. Through faith, prayer, and personal growth, I believe anything is possible, and I bring that same energy to every project I work on. My goal is to help others achieve success, just as I’ve been able to through dedication and resilience.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
The turning point in my career came when I strayed from my faith and lost touch with who I truly was. I found myself becoming someone I wasn’t, which led me down a destructive path. At my heaviest, I weighed 330 pounds, and it was a clear reflection of the imbalance in my life. Realizing the need for change, I embraced life-altering habits to regain control, and I’m proud to say I’ve lost over 130 pounds. This journey has been about more than just physical transformation—it’s been about realigning with my faith and my true self.
Can you share your view on NFTs? (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
NFTs are revolutionizing the music industry by providing artists with new ways to monetize their work and engage directly with fans. Through NFTs, musicians can sell exclusive content, such as unreleased tracks, concert tickets, or limited-edition albums, allowing fans to own a unique piece of the artist’s work. This decentralizes the traditional music distribution model, giving artists more control over their intellectual property and earnings. Furthermore, NFTs can include smart contracts that ensure artists receive royalties from future sales, creating long-term revenue streams. For fans, owning an NFT offers a sense of exclusivity and deeper connection to the artists they support. As the NFT space continues to evolve, it presents immense potential for reshaping how music is shared, consumed, and valued.
