Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Antonio Gomez. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Antonio, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Halo Bloom was born from years of personal experience and a genuine desire to make hair care feel both effective and intentional.
As a model, my hair became one of my most recognizable features, but keeping it healthy wasn’t always easy. I spent years experimenting with oils, treatments, and products, mixing and testing combinations because I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. My co-founder Mila was on the same journey. We’d exchange recommendations, compare products, and eventually realized we were solving the same problem: the market wasn’t fully meeting our needs.
The idea didn’t happen overnight. It was the result of years of testing and paying close attention to what hair actually needs. What excited us most was creating products that combined high-performance ingredients, thoughtful design, and a luxurious experience without complicating your routine.
The biggest gap we noticed was that most products only solved one part of the equation. Some prioritized aesthetics, others focused on ingredients, and many ignored the user experience altogether. We wanted to bridge that gap.
Our first product,The Secret, is a perfect example. Inspired by years of pre-wash oiling, we replaced the traditional dropper (messy, imprecise, prone to contamination) with a spray application system that makes the process cleaner and more enjoyable. A small detail, but for us, innovation starts exactly there: improving the everyday experience.
What gave us confidence was simple: everyone who tried our early formulas kept asking where they could buy them. That was all the validation we needed.
At its core, Halo Bloom is the brand we wished had existed years ago, rooted in real experience, thoughtful formulation, and the belief that beautiful, healthy hair shouldn’t require complicated routines. Just the right steps for extraordinary results.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Antonio Gómez, and I am the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Halo Bloom.
Before launching the brand, I worked as a model and content creator, where my hair became one of my signature features. Years of styling, heat exposure, and endless product testing sparked a genuine passion for hair health and led me to spend countless hours researching ingredients, scalp care, and what actually works.
Together with my co-founder, Mila Miskovic, I started Halo Bloom after realizing that the products we wanted simply didn’t exist. We were constantly mixing formulas, layering products, and building our own routines because nothing on the market fully delivered. So we decided to create what we were missing.
Halo Bloom is a clean haircare brand built around products that are thoughtful, effective, and enjoyable to use. From The Secret, our pre-wash oil spray, to Arcadia Nectar, our finishing serum, every product is designed with intention and grounded in real experience.
What sets us apart is our attention to detail. We care about performance, but also about the experience of using the product, how it feels, how it fits into your routine, and how it’s packaged. We believe those details matter.
What I’m most proud of is that Halo Bloom was never about chasing trends. It was born from years of personal testing, learning, and a genuine desire to do better. We’re creating the products we wished had existed all along.
Pure care. Extra steps for extraordinary hair.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Resilience has been a constant theme throughout my life.
I started working at 13 with a professional camera my father gave me. From a young age, I had a strong desire to be independent and create my own opportunities. That mindset eventually led me to one of the biggest decisions of my life: moving to Miami alone in 2017.
Like many immigrants, my beginnings in the United States were far from easy. I faced uncertainty, financial challenges, and moments where the future felt unclear. Things didn’t always go according to plan, but I never allowed temporary difficulties to define my long-term vision.
What kept me going was the belief that every challenge was teaching me something valuable. Failure is not the opposite of success; it is part of the process. Every obstacle forced me to adapt, become more resourceful, and keep moving forward even when I couldn’t yet see the results.
Those experiences shaped the entrepreneur I am today. They taught me patience, perseverance, and the importance of trusting the journey. Halo Bloom exists because I was willing to keep believing in my goals during seasons when success wasn’t guaranteed.
If there’s one lesson I carry with me, it’s this: resilience isn’t about never falling. It’s about continuing to move forward, learning from every setback, and trusting that today’s struggles can become tomorrow’s greatest strengths.

How’d you meet your business partner?
I met my co-founder, Mila Miskovic, through a mutual connection from a direct sales cosmetics company where I previously worked. From the moment we met, we connected instantly.
What began as a professional introduction quickly became a genuine friendship. Since 2021, we’ve shared countless conversations about beauty, entrepreneurship, and our passion for creating something meaningful. Over time, we realized we had complementary strengths and a shared vision for what modern haircare could be.
What makes our partnership special is that Halo Bloom was built on trust and friendship long before it became a business. We challenged each other’s ideas, supported one another through the ups and downs, and turned a shared passion into a brand we’re both incredibly proud of.
It’s remarkable to think that a simple introduction led to all of this.
