We recently connected with Antino Crowley-kamenwati and have shared our conversation below.
ANTINO, appreciate you joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
Since I was a child I always gravitated towards art and anything creative.
I wanted to be an actor very young.
My parents weren’t really showbiz minded. So they kind of dismissed it.
Once I became a young adult I began to pursue all my endeavors, and the rest is history.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m an actor.
Film and tv. I’ve been doing this professionally for about 14 years.
I’ve been featured as a co-star, guest-star, and recurring on many major networks.
Among them Law&Order, both SVU and Organized Crime, Gotham, NCIS:New Orleans, FBI, and When They See Us, etc. I was also in the film, “Clean,” a thriller starring Adrien Brody. Most recently I just wrapped ‘Task,’ a new limited series from HBO, and the third season of ‘And Just Like That.’ Both shows air early in 2025.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The lesson is no matter how good you treat someone they won’t always reciprocate it. And they aren’t really obligated to, which is tough to swallow.
No, I don’t care to go into the backstories. There are too many. I’ve had to learn this lesson repeatedly.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Yes. I have a story to tell, doesn’t everyone. But mine is a powerful and rewarding tale of survival and redemption. My background is kind of dark…a survivor of child sex abuse, crime, prison, pornography…and I pressed through all of that to become an actor that’s up next for national and international stardom.
