We recently connected with Anthony Walton and have shared our conversation below.
Anthony, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I think getting up everyday, even when you don’t feel like it is key to being successful. Motion creates emotion and in the sales industry, being able to project positive energy is critcal when trying to sell products.


Anthony, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
We are a Minority owned bottled artesian spring water company from Phoenix that sources our product out of Sedona, Arizona. We have zero additives and preservatives and are currently in over 100 locations throughout Arizona and California. These locations range from gas stations, malls, restaurants, food marts, salons, smoke shops and a couple of grocery stores. Our company and product have huge ties with the communities in which we do business. We provide hydration for VIP and Red Carpet Events. We Sponsor Dirt Track Race Cars, Dirt Bike Racers, Platinum selling Artists and have been the sponsored hydration for major events throughout the Arizona and California such as BET Weekend Girlfriends & Champaign Luncheon at Blush in North Hollywood, Compulsive Magazine’s Release Anniversary hosted at N10 Restaurant in Beverly Hills, The Arizona and Las Vegas Cannabis Awards and Music Fest as well as the Campensina’s Tardeada Del Pueblo 2022 at the Milwaukee Brewers Stadium. Being that our water is filtered organically through the earth and truly untouched in the way of chemicals and additives, we are an optimum choice for pure hydration. We are absolutely the underdog in the water industry with the added fact that we are under franchised. Getting to this point was far from easy. I don’t just work “Office Hours”. I am not a sales person or just a delivery driver. I am a hustler. It’s not about creating a paycheck today, yet a lifestyle in the future. My team is the definition of grit. I over come challenges by talking to other like minded “strong” individuals. I take time to remember why I started this business in the first place. I lean on my support base, and I listen to those that are offering wise advise. A major lesson I have learned a long the way is to be careful about paying companies for memberships to network. Be selectful of who you network with and what events you attend. Remember, time is an expensive resource and you want your every move to have a positive impact on your overall bottom line.
The Icebreakers brand was established during the pandemic as a form of entertainment produced by us randomly checking in on total strangers. We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
A very important lesson I had to learn and that I use daily is that our product isn’t meant for everyone. When I first started, I tried to sell to everyone that I came across. Sharing how much healthier it was than the next product. I would get frustrated until I understood that the audience you are pitching to must match the product you are selling. Once I understood this concept, my sales became easier and more frequent and from the appropriate customers. The customers that pride quality over the cost.


What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Being a man of my word. This goes right along with the golden rule of treating others the way you want to be treated. When I say I’m going to do something, I do it. If I say I’m going to be somewhere, I am there. Just by doing these simple things, I have become known for being dependable. Were other larger companies in my industry are short on this concept pretty much all the time. We aim to provide dependable service each and every time.
