Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Anthony Robinson . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Anthony , appreciate you joining us today. I’m sure there have been days where the challenges of being an artist or creative force you to think about what it would be like to just have a regular job. When’s the last time you felt that way? Did you have any insights from the experience?
Yes I am completely happy as an independent artist.
I don’t think about having a regular job. I’ve worked in corporate America for quite some time so I know what’s out there.
Going back to a job is not an option for me. I’m a wild animal now! I’d feel caged. The freedom I have throughout the day is priceless.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
As a kid, I’ve always had a strong love for Nature…..Especially animals. I used to create enclosures for my reptiles, amphibians, and insects. People loved my creations. One year I created a Valentines Day themed terrarium for my girlfriend at the time and everyone in the office where we worked wanted one of their own. The orders started from there and I just kept going.
I specialize in terrariums, potted plants, terrarium building workshops, and zero maintenance moss walls.
I feel my creativity sets me apart from others. When I initially started, there were no existing models to base my business of off. My ideas came from my mind and my heart.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Yes, to open as many minds as I can about the importance of embracing Nature.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
I get to make a living doing what I love so ot never feels like work.
