We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Anthony McMillan II. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Anthony below.
Anthony, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s kick things off with talking about how you serve the underserved, because in our view this is one of the most important things the small business community does for society – by serving those who the giant corporations ignore, small business helps create a more inclusive and just world for all of us.
Whether it’s through my personal businesses or the work I do at the Dressie Law Firm, I strive to serve those who need me most. As an entrepreneur, I help those create wealth and happiness for themselves whether it’s helping them start their own businesses or teaching them how to stay profitable in troubling times. As an attorney, I successfully represent those that have been through something traumatic and are in need of justice and rightful compensation. Helping those that need it the most is a goal we should all aim for. No matter where we come from or our disagreements on trivial matters, helping each other is a common thread for everyone to follow.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Anthony McMillan II. I am the owner and founder of Business 101 Consulting located in Fayetteville, GA. I’ve been operating this company since 2019 when I started while attending law school. My company successfully helps startup company and teaches people the ins and outs of business. Along with my consulting business, I am also an associate attorney at the Dressie Law Firm in Atlanta, GA. We do great work here and fight to the upmost for all of our clients. We handle a wide variety of personal injury cases.
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
In order to create my first business, I worked two jobs and sold everything I had of value. I lived modestly in those times and always kept my eyes on what I truly wanted. Through hardwork and perseverance, I managed to build the capital needed to start my business, and I haven’t looked back since.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing clientele that I have found is simply talking to people. Get out there, and relate to people. You can offer an amazing product or service, but if you can’t effectively communicate with others, you will never be successful in business.
