We were lucky to catch up with Anthony Dail recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Anthony, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
When a client books me, they know they’re getting a good quality video.. When I work a project, I communicate well with my clients and we discuss expectations. As a result, they understand good detailed work takes time and at the end of the day it shows.
My brand speaks for itself when someone watches my videos. A client immediately notice there is a difference.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I got into making videos several years ago before they were popular on social media. When I began, it was a struggle because very few people found it difficult to understand that videos were going to be become a thing of the future on social media. We have to remember this is was right before Instagram and definitely before Tik Tok. I got started doing real estate videos for a company named King Rhodes and Associates. I explained to them where I was coming from and they were able to relate to the near future. That is when my vision became a reality. Sometime after that is when other real estate companies heard about me and began to use me as well. Eventually word continued to spread about me to a large number of high end realtors filming luxury hikes and listings. Over time, my business has branched out to other types of videos for small businesses. I am set apart from others and known as a professional in the business. I am known for taking my time and putting out a well polished product.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
As we have heard the quote, sometimes we have to “adapt and overcome”. This applied to me and my clients back during Covid. There was a time when people felt uncomfortable with strangers going into their home not knowing if they had the virus or not. In turn, people didn’t want to go into other peoples homes for obvious reasons. As a result, I came up with Covid videos. These were short, simple walkthrough videos with the realtor telling the viewer about the home. They were short videos but my clients found them to be very effective for that time.
This often reminds me that things can change with little notice and as a business, we have to be willing to change with the world to be successful.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
I really enjoy being creative. To me, it’s not about putting another product out for a client. I like taking as much time as allows and being creative as my mind will let me. That is what I feel sets me apart from others. I’m often told certain parts of my videos are really cool and sometimes asked “how did you do that?” Little comments like let me know that clients pay attention to what I do and they appreciate my work. But in turn, without them, my business would not be possible and I do appreciate them as well.
