Alright, Anthony thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

Anthony’s creativity started in elementary school with dancing! Dancing was his beginning connection to the world of music. There wasn’t a day that went by that he didn’t listen or bust a move in the house. Creativity started with choreography, somehow Anthony found himself teaching others, (siblings/cousins) moves He envisioned. Overtime, house dancing turned into public dancing, with Anthony entering dance competitions at the schools He attended and won! In addition to dancing Catchings also wrote music in a journal, specifically, love/gospel/inspirational music.

Anthony soon found himself singing at church, which led to outside events. In 2015 Catchings released his first Gospel song called “My God is Worthy, which landed him music industries ballots, Tv show/radio appearances,. In 2019 Catchings signed with United Music Group. Anthony recently signed a song deal with Nashville Grammy award winning producer Nathan Walters and due to release brand new music in 2023.

Anthony Catchings is a huge advocate for people, he enjoys building his community of people and people across the world! He started a Movement called “Authentic Culture” where adults get to talk about life, from relationships and self identity in individuality. The mission statement of Authentic Culture is to allow people to self reflect and get to know themselves! Anthony plans to cultivate Authentic Culture, going across the world capitalizing on conversations that’ll bring solutions.

Already people that has attended Authentic Culture talk nights are re-evaluating wrong situations they are in and question their thought process. I’m proud to be able to create a place for people to grow, be transparent and learn about life, what it means to love, what it means to love yourself, and steps to take to get out of situations that aren’t adding value.

What set Anthony apart from others is the genuine love that he has for people, how optimistic he can be. He brings about a sense of hope that draws people to him. The compassion he has for seeing people better is real, its consistent and it’s

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?

What society can do support artist is be OPEN to new music, be open to art work, be open to the idea that innovation requires people to go against the grain. So that means things will look different, sound different, and feel different. For some innovators/creatives it’s hard because of the limited mindset we function out of as an society!

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

The mission statement through my music and brand “Authentic Culture” Is to navigate people back to original form to gather some of those key elements we lost on the journey of life that has set us back on quality, It’s to restore, to uplift, to secure, to view an holistic approach when it comes to the relationships we carry!
