We were lucky to catch up with Annmarie Andaluz recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Annmarie, thanks for joining us today. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?

PHreshBox was an idea that happened around 3 am in my sleep. I remember getting up and decided to try and wash off the restlessness. Next thing you know, “ahha, that’s it!” I thought. That thought was then followed buy a fiery emotion within my spirit. “I am going to make an extraordinary intimate hygiene cleanser”

I quickly finished washing myself and got out of the shower. I knew I needed to put action with this idea, so I was moving expeditiously. My physical body felt as if, it were trying to catch up to my mind at the pace that I was moving. For the next hour or so, I began researching the internet for holistic ingredients to make a wash that has yet to exist. Driven by my own unpleasant experience, I was determined to create something that actually works.

I’m not talking about, false advertising “natural, organic, PH balanced product” but to actually create a game changing formula.

Inevitably, I went to sleep and my hours turned into weeks maybe even a month of consistent researching and note taking. Within the next month or so, I bought the ingredients I wanted to use and tried to put the vagina recipe together. The 1st few attempts were all lessons until I finally had a formula.

Within the year, I focused on test & trial as well as legalities of opening a business. In addition, protecting this formula I created was also in the works. I learned and sought-after legal resources to patent and trademark my name and formula.

Finally, I was ready to get the brand out and share it with the world.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I am Goddess PHresh. Creator & CEO of PHreshBox and owner of PHreshBox V Spa.

I got into the holistic healing industry through my own personal journey, seeking holistic medicine. I am a licensed cosmetologist since 2014. I started my business and became a herbal specialist in 2018, making natural alternatives for genital hygiene. I opened my 1st spa suite in 2021, followed by my 2nd spa suite 1 year later.

I’ve learned to be discipline & consistent because my “why drive” to be successful in multiple spectrums outweighed my current status at that time. Currently, it still does. The finish line keeps moving and the goals keep growing.

I now manufacture my own natural genital product line from unisex daily moisturizing cleansers, sugar scrubs, vagi steam pouches, male enhancement supplements and more. In addition, I provide holistic healing services at my spa such as, v steaming, vagacials, peniacials, herbal sauna body detox and much more.

The experience at PHreshBox is authentically derived from ancestral roots. We are currently a family owned business and truly passionate of our mission to provide love and healing to our generation and generations to come around our world. Providing a safe platform for affordable self care.

I am most proud of the brand overall 5 star quality. The word is getting out in the universe by word of mouth, which brings so much joyful energy.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?

The initial capital came from “super saver mode” as I like to call it. I didn’t go out, spend extra money unless it had to do with the business. Also, I put myself in “good debt” by building my credit and using my credit cards.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

Don’t always listen to your parents. That was a huge one for me. Being the 1st entrepreneur, no one knew or understood my dream because they had yet to experience something like this. We grow, we learn, we unlearn and then relearn. It’s apart of life’s journey.
