Anniete, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Do you think folks should manage their own social media or hire a professional? What do you do?

I do manage my social media myself, i think it helps creates a connection between me and my audience/client.

Hello everyone, my name is Anniete and I am a hairstylist, I do braids and locs from home for now and I hope to expand my business in the nearest future. I have always loved doing hair but I decided during the pandemic to take it more serious and perfect my craft. I didn’t expect for my business to grow as much as it has but I am absolutely great full. I do enjoy providing the best services to my clients and I take pride in being a reliable hairstylist.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

TikTok and instagram are definitely the best tools to utilize when it comes to gaining exposure. Post your work and be consistent.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Being consistent pays of but I’ll advise you try trends and make contents that are engaging or informative.
