We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Annette Mesa . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Annette below.
Alright, Annette thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
For most of my life, I had a 9-5 Job. My mind was never open to the possibility to have the job that I have now. As a child, school was not easy for me and there were moments when the teachers gave up on me. Letting my parents know that I would only achieve a simple job. That I will never make anything of myself. However; some teachers did help me and took the time to help me after class.
God had different plans for me. The risk that I took was getting into the job that I have now. I had no idea what I was doing in the beginning but the people that I worked with took the time to show me and pour into me. I never thought that the medical field was a place for me cause but I am glad I took that leap of faith and took the risk to have this job.
I thought I was going to fail. I thought very little of myself before I got into this but if we don’t jump into the opportunity and let fear take us that we will always ask ourselves what if? I was tired of asking myself that question and jumped in.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
We work in telemedicine. My husband has worked in the field for many years. That was my foot into the door; He helped me understand what I had to do and make sure that our service was the best that we can offer to anyone.
What set us apart is we take care of our customers. we make them feel like they are VIPs and build a relationship with them. We make sure that they feel heard and taken care of. That they can trust us and know that everything they say will stay with us. We are proud of that and know that is not common nowadays.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
to be yourself. Be humble and honest with your clients. working in this business is caring for them and making the patient feel taken care of is the best way to show them that you care.
How’d you meet your business partner?
We are a husband and wife business. Is never easy but I am thankful that we both can work from home and put our priority where is important in our daughter. It gives us the freedom to spend time with her and be with her 247
