Today we’d like to introduce you to Anne Marie Ceralvo.

Hi Anne Marie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My first instrument was the violin. It was via these lessons that I was introduced to the concept of “harmony,” and ever since then I’ve been obsessed. Piano lessons lasted briefly, and several years I discovered that singing is fun, especially with other people. My love affair with music has always been on and off since childhood, but once the 2020 pandemic hit, the realm of music made its way back into my life, tenfold. Since 2020, my friends and I have released two LPs, I’ve garnered a handful of clients for session work, collaborated with talented producers and lyricists, and finally dove into the world of DJ_ing, after years of hesitation. I’m happy with where I’m at, and I look forward to creating more music!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The biggest struggles have been 99.9% internal: Self-Doubt, Fear of rejection, Anxiety, Perfectionism and Procrastination.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a singer/songwriter, a vocal producer, and a DJ. I specialize in harmonies. I tend to geek out and go [somewhat] overboard, when coming up with arrangements. I can say with confidence that I work pretty quickly too, while in the recording booth. Once I get in the zone, it doesn’t take long for me to complete a project.
