We recently connected with Anne Archambeault and have shared our conversation below.
Anne, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
I started my career as an elementary school teacher. My love of learning and working with children came naturally to me. I loved to be in my classroom and work with children and watch them grow. When Covid hit, I was unable to have the same level of interaction with the kids. The struggles of virtual learning and not being able to interact with my students became increasingly difficult. I woke up one morning during the summer break and decided that I wanted to explore some other options. I fell into insurance through a friend’s referral and fell in love with it. I could still teach and help people. A year after working for someone else, Rollo Insurance approached me and asked me if I would be interested in opening up my own office. I met with them and truly connected with their core values. I was very worried about venturing out on my own and not having any existing customers. I have worked very hard over the last year and a half building my business and showing my customers that they are my family. I absolutely love what I do and love being a part of this community as a business owner and feel blessed every day that I took this leap of faith.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
My name is Anne Archambeault and I am the owner of Rollo Insurance Dripping Springs. I work with multiple carriers nationally and am able to provide personal, commercial, health, and life insurance. I am able to protect a family’s assets in every way. I work closely with my customers and educate them on their policies. I believe that I set myself apart by treating my customers as my family. I provide them with my cell phone, so they can reach me at all times. I advise them on potential claims and go the extra mile in their time of need. I love the insurance world and am constantly attending trainings and webinars to increase my knowledge. I am so proud of everything that I can do for my community as a business owner.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Dripping Springs is such an amazing community. I have become involved with the Chamber of Commerce which has allowed me to attend business and networking meetings. I am actively involved in the Dripping Springs Women’s Club where I started a networking group with the members. I am also on the Dripping Springs Education Foundation where I can help with our teachers and students. Recently, I joined the Project Connect board where we strive to help the families in need in Dripping Springs. I am a part of the leadership class with the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce and other businesses and have been able to learn more about the Dripping Springs community. Through networking, volunteering, and serving on boards, I have been able to interact with many businesses and build relationships.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
I meet virtually or in person with my customers upon renewal of their policies. We will discuss whether there have been any changes in the household and will look over their policies and premium differences. If their premium has had a big increase, we will talk about re-shopping their insurance with our other carriers. I also will host networking and social events to give back to the community.
