Annaly, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
Ever since I was little, I’ve loved cooking and taking part in any artistic activities I could find. But I never thought I’d be able to make a living from it. I ended up doing a Bachelor in Nuclear Chemistry and doing a PhD in Argentina.
When my first child, Emma, was born, my perspective changed and my PhD lost importance. Playing with Emma, I discovered my love for bake cakes. I had a solid plan: finish my PhD, start a postdoc, become an investigator, and make enough money for a nice life. Instead, I decided to take pastry classes and leave the university. It was the most terrifying and important risk in my professional life. But I did it! I’m so happy I did. Doing what I love is the best thing I can do. I’m happy, and my creativity helps me to express my feelings. I’m so glad I started my own business! I really hope to become a pastry teacher one day!

I truly believe that a cake is so much more than just a cake. All celebrations have a special moment for cutting it. People gather around the cake, singing, smiling, and wishing for something amazing in their lives. When I was a kid, I always got a cake in a bear shape with lots of colors. I absolutely loved that memory! It was the best moment on my birthday.
That’s why I became a cake artist. I create unique cakes for you and your special moments.
I would be delighted to make you a cake in any character, game, special day, sugar flower, or even your boss or yourself! It’ll be one amazing cake, with the best flavor and natural ingredients always.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the joy on my clients’ faces when I deliver a cake they love. After all the hard work, it’s the best feeling ever!
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
I’m so thrilled to be on my way to becoming a pastry teacher! I feel a real calling to teach others how to create amazing cakes. Being part of that process will make me so happy and fulfilled!
