We recently connected with Anna Noriega and have shared our conversation below.
Anna, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start big picture – what are some of biggest trends you are seeing in your industry?
The sky is the limit when it comes to events! In today’s event world the trends are being consistently reinvented as our clients experiment with bursts of color, textures, styles and designs. Balloons are big right now and every good party has a fun dessert activations. Pick a theme or color palate and find unique and interesting ways to bring them into your event through thoughtfully placed details. Tropicals are always a fun way to bring color and impact to your designs and shade of green with touches of white paired with Metallics never disappoint in bringing a flair to your dinner parties. Find fun ways to have guests to interact such as photo booths, oversized games or DYI favor stations. The key is to listen to your clients desires and find a unique but functional way to bring their vision to life.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a huge fan of South Florida. I love everything green and I have a true love affair with plants and flowers. In my adolescent years I was a very thriving fashion model and a proud member of the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders-Go Fins! I attended the University of Miami, where I graduated with honors and held a prestigious positions at The Fisher Island Hotel & Resort and Jordache Enterprises where I spearheaded the Sales & Marketing for such Hotels as Hotel Ocean & Hotel Breakwater before going on my own and launching Alorè Event Firm.
I am proud to say that our hard work as well as social connections and past engagements have given us the opportunity to be featured on several TV shows such as, MTV Movie Awards, BET Source Awards, Design on a Dime, Making the Squad, FINS TV, Channel 10, Ambush Makeover, Deco Drive, & HDTV.
It was the passion for creating beautiful memories that led me to open Aloré Event Firm. The company strives to handle clients looking for top luxury service and design for thier weddings and corporate events. Our clients are worldly travel and many seek destination weddings & Events in Sunny South Florida as well as world wide.
I also teach a variety of Workshops in a Series called Alorè Workshops and have the pleasure of teaching at places such as Fairchild Gardens, Deering Estate and Fisher Island to name a few.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
One thing any business owner can tell you is that there is always something to learn. Unlearning working from a standard check list was key for me in establishing a work routine that makes sense for our business. No business fits in a box and its important to understand what it takes to make your business work and apply that into consistently developing a plan, then a plan b and then a plan c. Innovation is a true factor behind any successful business and that only comes from understanding your market and clients.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
We innovate and shift every day if not you are not staying ahead of the curve. But nothing made us stop in our tracks and completely change our way of life more than the COVID pandemic. We learned to operate in new more productive ways and have grown to adapt and continue thriving.
