We were lucky to catch up with Anna Love recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Anna thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
In my 30s, I was a full time me kindergarten teacher, passionate, creative, and outwardly successful, but inside, I was struggling. I was living in a fog, deeply disconnected from my true self, and silently battling cycles of self-sabotage. Alcohol and other vices helped me escape the nagging feeling that I wasn’t fully aligned with who I was meant to be. I was showing up for my students every day, but I hadn’t yet learned how to show up for myself.
One afternoon, during snack time, I had a moment of clarity. Watching my students light up while preparing their own simple snacks, a spark went off: What if I created a real cooking program for kids, where they could learn life skills, build confidence, and have fun through food?
That idea felt electric, and something in me knew I had to follow it.
With no business background, no plan, and no idea what entrepreneurship really entailed, I took the leap. I created Tiny Chefs, a mobile, turnkey program where families could host cooking classes in their homes, schools could bring in hands-on workshops, and kids could celebrate birthdays and summer breaks with cooking at the center. I brought everything to them: the ingredients, the curriculum, and the magic.
At first, it was just me! Teaching classes after school, fielding inquiries, doing dishes, and driving from home to home on the weekends and summer.
The model took off. Word spread fast, and what started as a side hustle grew into a thriving company. Parents loved the ease of hosting, and kids loved being the chef.
Behind the scenes, however, I was still carrying unhealed wounds. Even as I scaled the company to $700K in revenue by 2017 and crossed $1 million by 2019, I felt like I was living two lives. One looked successful. The other felt hollow. True transformation came when I turned inward. I began the deep inner work, healing my subconscious, regulating my nervous system, releasing old patterns, and reclaiming my worth.
Now, in 2025, Tiny Chefs grosses over $1.5 million annually and serves thousands of children and families. But more importantly, I finally feel like the leader I was always meant to be. The biggest risk I ever took wasn’t just starting a business from scratch, it was choosing to face myself, heal, and build success from the inside out.
That risk changed everything. And it gave me back me.

Anna , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Anna Love, an Intuitive Empowerment Coach, Subconscious Reprogramming Guide, and the creator of The ALIGN Method and The Awakened Woman Oracle Deck.
I help powerful, purpose-driven women (and increasingly men too) unravel old stories, clear subconscious blocks, and come home to their truest, most liberated selves.
My journey into this work didn’t begin in a traditional way. I spent the early part of my career as a kindergarten teacher in my 30s, pouring love into children’s development and creativity. In 2007, I took a risk and launched Tiny Chefs, a mobile culinary education business for kids. With zero experience in entrepreneurship and while navigating personal struggles with identity and self worth, I scaled it from a one woman passion project to a million dollar company by 2019. We now gross over $1.5 million annually.
But behind the success was a deeper inner journey. For years I was living in a fog, performing, pleasing, and numbing. I was wildly capable on the outside but disconnected on the inside. It wasn’t until my 40s that I began to peel back the layers, do the inner healing, and reclaim the parts of myself I had abandoned to fit in or feel safe. That transformation, from high functioning self-sabotage to conscious, embodied leadership, is what sets the foundation for my current work.
Now, I offer 1:1 coaching, a 6-week group program called Blueprint of Freedom, and a digital hypnosis membership that helps clients rewire their minds, regulate their nervous systems, and realign with their soul’s truth. My work blends subconscious healing (NLP, hypnotherapy, parts work), somatic tools, intuitive coaching, and spiritual insight. It’s not just mindset work, it’s full spectrum soul alignment.
What sets me apart is my ability to hold both depth and fire. I’ve lived the journey from breakdown to breakthrough, and I now guide my clients with a mix of grounded tools, radical compassion, and fierce clarity. I help my clients get unstuck, shed inherited patterns, amplify their inner voice, and confidently step into leadership that’s rooted in purpose, not perfection.
I’m most proud of who I’ve become in the process, no longer hiding behind achievements or people pleasing. I’ve created a life that’s deeply aligned, and I’m committed to helping others do the same.
If you’re someone who knows you’re here to lead with love, rise with truth, and live in your full power, but something keeps pulling you back, I’m here to help you break that cycle and rise.
You don’t need to keep hustling for your worth. You were born enough. Let’s remember who you really are.

Have you ever had to pivot?
In 2019, I found myself at a crossroads, not because I was over-performing or burning the candle at both ends, but because I was under-performing. I was playing small, avoiding conflict, and staying in roles that didn’t require me to fully show up. I was running a company that looked successful from the outside, but I was deeply unfulfilled. I wasn’t leading with clarity or confidence, I was managing my business in a way that mirrored my own inner misalignment.
The truth was, I had no idea what my deeper purpose was. I just knew that I wasn’t living it.
Everything shifted when I finally stopped avoiding the truth and started listening to the quiet voice within, the one that kept nudging me toward something more meaningful. I realized I was here to be a voice of encouragement, empowerment, and transformation for women like me, women who were ready to reclaim their power and live more fully.
That realization sparked a massive pivot. I became certified in NLP and hypnotherapy, and immersed myself in the study of subconscious healing, somatic work, and Internal Family Systems. I learned how our unresolved wounds and past experiences get stored in the body, and how they shape the way we see ourselves and our reality.
From that inner awakening, I created a coaching practice rooted in self-love, nervous system safety, and deep identity transformation. Today, I guide women to break free from the patterns that keep them small and live lives that are rooted in confidence, clarity, and authenticity.
That pivot wasn’t just about changing my work, it was about finally choosing me. And that changed everything.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
From age 16 to 24, I was in an emotionally and physically abusive relationship. During those eight years, I learned to silence my voice and shape shift into who I thought he needed me to be. I believed my worth came from how well I could please, accommodate, and endure. I thought that if I could be agreeable enough, selfless enough, small enough, I’d finally be loved.
When I left, I wasn’t yet healed. I was mentally and emotionally exhausted, barely able to recognize myself. I had been betrayed again, cheated on one too many times, and something in me finally said, “No more.” I realized that I was the one who had to make a change. No one was coming to save me. It was up to me to choose myself.
The deeper healing came later. It took time to peel back the layers of false beliefs I had absorbed, beliefs that told me love meant sacrifice, that my emotions were too much, and that my value depended on someone else’s approval.
What I eventually unlearned was this: I never had to become less in order to be worthy of love. My power was never in how well I fit into someone else’s story, but in how bravely I reclaimed my own. I am the queen of myself, the owner of my heart. Today, I lead with love. Love for myself, love as a way of life, and love as the foundation for every choice I make.
