We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Anna Leah Mintz a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Anna, appreciate you joining us today. Can you share a story with us from back when you were an intern or apprentice? Maybe it’s a story that illustrates an important lesson you learned or maybe it’s a just a story that makes you laugh (or cry)?
Being a teacher to a single individual or a group is a very important role and has the potential to make or break someone’s self -esteem. I’ll never forget the impatience my sewing teacher had with me to the point that I feared asking her any questions . As a result as an adult now, I have no confidence in threading a needle and can’t even sew on a button. I’ve always known that I love to teach and since I was in Kindergarten , I would come home with all my after school assignments excited to teach my younger brother all that I learned. Most of it was math and sure enough he ended up becoming a High school math teacher.
I always had a natural knack to teach creatively and make every learning experience really fun. I love seeing students happy expressions when they win prizes for every question they answer correctly or when they just earned a point for their team in our quiz games.
Well my chance to put my teaching skills to the test was when I was on an internship studying to be a teacher. It was a private school and the principal approached me asking me if I would like a very challenging class consisting of 3 young boys aged 11. He gave me the scenario telling me that their present elderly teacher who was teaching at this school for over 30 years can’t handle them anymore as they are verbally mean to her and very disrespectful toward all her lesson plans and methods of teaching.
I thought this would be my big chance to see if I could get through to them and more than anything give them a really fun learning experience. I realize they have many more years of school ahead of them and it’s very important that they see school as a pleasurable and welcoming opportunity to learn new things.
The principal walked me to my new classroom and the 3 young boys stared at me with a cold facial expression.. I felt as though the wheels in their head were deciding what they will do to challenge me. The more I look at them, the more I realize these guys are craving control and attention.
I thought, Perhaps if I offered them that, the tables would turn and we would gain some positive energy in the room.
I began by introducing myself and told them I can only imagine the juicy ideas they must be thinking to make this a fun room. Of course It was a rhetorical and partially sarcastic question on my end. I told them: “Let me help you guys with some of your ideas. How about if I take a break as a teacher and go sit in the back and you 3 can teach eachother?
They were shocked by the suggestion. One boy responded by questioning my suggestion and responded: “Us be the teacher?” I said :”Sure why not ?” Each of you will take a chapter consisting of the short story with a message , read it to the class and then provide them a quick game and a final test which you will type up for them and mark at the end.
They absolutely gloated at this opportunity and we proceeded by having a draw to see who would get what chapter to teach.
They then got to work. Of course I knew that you can’t teach something until you learn the material yourself which automatically got them to have to read the short story in their chapter. They now needed to find a way to create questions for their classmates for the quiz game and a test to follow. This allowed them to get as creative as they wanted .
About 35 minutes later the principal rang the bell for recess and as he walked by my room with the door wide open, he asked why my students weren’t going out for recess. He asked if they were being kept in for misbehavior; as this is usually the case. I said, “Sir you are free to ask them yourself.” One of the boys wanted to be the first to respond and said that he would rather work on the test he’s designing for the class,. The second boy said ; ” Yah me too”. The last kid said that if he gets an A in this class his parents promised him a new bike in the summer.
I looked at the principal and said these are a lovely group of boys with much creativity and enthusiasm. He was very pleasantly surprised that I had them loving my class in such a short time and none of them were sent to his office that day.
The following week, one of the parents saw me out in the hall and expressed how her son was so excited about his new assignment and getting to be the teacher. She said he spent hours coming up with questions and the answers to be able to assign and mark the test at the end. They are being self-taught with me overseeing everything. They still need to present me with their lesson plan, the quiz game and the test questions and answers. This is how they get graded by me.
It’ quite clear this plan was working as these kids just needed the chance to be heard, have some control and allow their creativity to shine in front rather than behind their seats in a boring classroom.
As a further reward for one of the boys, he reports to me that he got to pick out his favorite bike on that last week of school after his parents received his report card and for the first time proud to see that he earned his A plus.
Great leaders don”t make great followers but rather great leaders! A motto that I strongly believe works.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
After graduating from the Drama In Education program at the University of Windsor, I spent several years of my life teaching and being a school principal at 2 schools as well as educating teachers in mini workshops to teach creatively. It was a program that I proudly graduated from designed by Dr. Sue Martin who was the Dean of the department. Her classes and books she wrote gave me the opportunity to bring out all my creative qualities ie Improvisation, trying out what it would be like to be a talk show host, teach a class with special needs and so much more. After putting this degree to use and working at a variety of schools., I took a 10 year break to be a full time mom and housewife. It was important that I spend quality one on time with each child and do fun , creative activities. We enrolled in “mommy and me” gym classes, as well as music, art , dance, acting, swimming and sports. They got a hands on feel with me right there with them participating in all these areas. At night we would make dinner or desserts together and have a nice wind down bed time. Each kid was raised feeling confident and proud of all their achievements. As they got older and now in school full time, I needed to find something to occupy my time.
I realize there was so many people around me ie several friends and family dealing with cancer and other severe autoimmune disorders. Most were taking medications and strong chemo to deal with their issues and I found the side effects to be almost as bad as the disease they were dealing with. It lead me to want to take courses to get to a more natural and integrative approach to help them. I found myself changing my teaching career to becoming a certified Health Consultant, Nutritionist and Detox specialist. I did it all on line including all the many tests and assignments I was required to do. I am now certified through Total Health Mastery. This was an accomplishment but not enough. I found that you can’t just suggest one Digestive Enzyme to those who can’t digest their food or Elderberry for a good immune boost. Each person is different and it’s not a one fix for each symptom.
One day a practitioner introduced me to the Emotion Code and suggested I attend a weekend workshop where the Founder Dr. Bradley Nelson flew down his top Emotion Code practitioner to San Diego to teach a room full of interested health practitioners and nurses the value of the Emotion/ Body Code. She explains that it is designed to get to the ROOT cause of each individuals personal health issue by removing negative stored Emotions from their subconscious mind. She explains that we have 60 negative stored emotions that we have accumulated as early as when we were in our mother’s womb and we continue to accumulate. as we grow. She explains the subconscious is like the blue print to your entire body and knows everything about you especially the true ROOT cause of why you are not feeling well. Our job as trained practitioners is to learn how to detect which of the 60 emotions is causing this health issue and remove it energetically and even remotely (using ourselves as a surrogate) one emotion at a time if the client can’t be in your presence. We were offered to read the subconscious using muscle testing, O -Ring Method, Sway method and several others but the only one that worked for me and I consider to be my Gift, is using a pendant. My daughter pointed out a lady on TV using it and I realize I was actually wearing one. I quickly tried it and asked it very specific YES or NO questions with the intention that if it sways to the Right it would be a Yes and if it sways to the Left it would be a NO. I started asking it if my name is Anna , Sure enough it swayed a YES to the Right. I asked if I was Mary and it swayed to the Left. From then on I continue to practice testing other people, and even products to see if they are beneficial for me to take that day. or if I”m allergic to any food or even if the food is still fresh. The sky is the limit with how many things you can ask and emotions that exist that you can remove. The nurse expressed how if she knew this modality sooner, the majority of her patience would either be out of the hospital sooner or not even need to go to begin with. The emotion code states that 85% of any health issue is emotionally related ie Mentally, Emotionally , Physically and even Spiritually. If you removed all that shows up on the client for example if you are trying to help someone with stomach cramps, and you see that all the emotions are removed but the subconscious still shows that this issue exists , then you go into the body code. This consists of 6 imbalances and it’s up to the practitioner to detect which it is and remove the emotions attached to what is now found in the body code. It can also lead us to advising a chiropractor, or removing a food from your diet if a food sensitivity is found on the food chart or perhaps getting rid of parasites if that shows up. The 6 imbalances that Complete getting to the ROOT cause includes
Pathogens, ie Mold, virus, bacteria, parasites, fungus, Misalignments, Nutrition and Lifestyle, Energies. Circuits & Systems ie sensitive to the EMF radiating from your Cell phone, etc and lastly Toxins from chemicals, etc.
I was fascinated by how many more clients I was able to help and the beauty of it is that they can be anywhere in the world and I can use myself as their surrogate to energetically test them and remove all the layers of emotions like peeling off the skin on an onion one at a time until there is nothing left to remove and their issue starts to dissipate. I then email them their report and show them all the layers of things that were detected and removed and in the exact order they occurred.
I so far have helped people remove depression, anxiety, physical pain, suicidal thoughts, financial and relationship blockages and so much more. All their video testimonials can be heard on my website.
Since I still enjoy teaching I made sure I was involved in going into my kids classrooms and teaching the students on healthy eating ie we played games on what to look for when shopping by reading the labels on the back for poor oils, preservatives to avoid, the benefit of gluten free , organic , wild fish, products and so much more. They enjoyed it when we actually baked muffins in the classroom using coconut oil and a gluten free recipe.
In addition to teaching kids I continued to educate people doing mini health workshops in my home , community centers, library events , podcasts for those that want to interview me on a topic and best of all my live Healthy Haven Show that I produce and host. It is the only live health show in San Diego and promoted 3 time on KUSI news. I started it myself when people requested I should be speaking in front of a larger crowd. From there I reached out to other health care professionals to be co-hosts, and to other guest speakers to offer 21st century information and top of the line health products. I was able to bring the show to life with a DJ/ Mcee, 3 videographers to tape and edit the show that offered to do this voluntarily as they were so excited to be part of this and lastly some cheerleaders and dancers from a High School who hand out gifts at the door and entertain us with the shows theme of Bringing a Healthy Haven Here on Earth !
We are going on our 8th show where I plan to bring on Physically challenged people who will inspire the audience on how they overcame their obstacles. I will also be putting them in our music video that has inspirational lyrics and a fun pumped up beat. We will show this video on the show after we interview the guest speakers. and have them shine on our stage.
All of our past shows and podcasts as well as other music videos that I did with very valuable messages, can be seen on my website: Naturalhealthyhaven.com. First show discusses the Emotion/ Body Code on a powerpoint presentation, as Well the Solution to harmful EMF’s from our cell phones with President of EMF solutions Cory Hillis. We themed it “The Silent Killer”. Other shows include How to Detoxify the Body, Reversing Auto Immune disorders,, The Suicide Epidemic, How To Improve your Relationships through a Spiritual Perspective and Crushing Covid.ie ways to protect yourself.
If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
I have absolutely no doubt that this mission of educating the public on health topics with 21st century information and helping them reach their optimal health using all my training especially the Emotion/ Body code is what my soul is intended to do . I feel completely fulfilled and blessed with this mission. I thank the divine daily for my gift to be able to tap into people’s subconscious using just a pendant and remove things that don’t serve them so their body can start to heal itself. My biggest reward is hearing so many of my clients testimonials some of which feel positive results in under 48hrs.. The most rewarding ones are the young generation who no longer have suicidal thoughts , anxiety or depression and tell me how they just got a job they enjoy or went back to school with the goal to graduate.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Word of mouth is probably the most ideal and authentic way I to get clients. I don’t have a full time job doing the emotion code or being a health consultant since I still value motherhood and want to make sure I’m always available if any of my young adults (once kids) appreciate me being available for them.. Therefore I don’t advertise myself on many platforms . I find that once the clients get the positive results they are looking for in their session or perhaps enjoy the live health show they attend, they automatically tell others and from there my clientele and audience continue to grow.
I also have a weekly clubhouse on a global phone app every Wednesday night at 7:30 PST called Healthy Haven, where people from all over the world login to their app and join my room where myself and my moderators do energy testing on each attendee. I test and give them their percentage on their antibodies, immune, and redox molecules .while my moderator explains the importance of repairing and rejuvenating their redox molecule cells.
Healthy Haven live shows are at least 2-3 per year and I continue to be interviewed by hosts on various topics to add to my other podcasts on my website.
My website is quite active with viewers logging in daily. It is constantly being updated with new products , podcasts and shows and since all of it is also on You tube, people contact me from all over the world for a session after they fill out their free 15 minutes submission form on my website.
