Anna, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Alright, let’s jump into one of the most exciting parts of starting a new firm – how did you get your first client who was not a friend or family?

My very first client who paid me for my work was my friend)) The next one found me on Instagram. The largest number of clients came from Instagram and Behance

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I’m a food and fashion illustrator. I love fashion in general, clothes, shoes, accessories, makeup and everything related to fashion. This endlessly inspires me to draw. I also love to draw food, recipes, vegetables, fruits, flowers, restaurant interiors and everything related to food. For clients I create commercial fashion illustrations, event illustrations, menus, table cards, invitations and much more.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?

Keep working and never give up. People give up just one step before victory. And my favorite quote: “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

Life constantly teaches me and I am grateful for that. The most important thing is to learn the lesson the first time, learn from mistakes and never repeat it again. And listen to your heart and intuition, they never fail
