We were lucky to catch up with Anna Henry recently and have shared our conversation below.

Anna, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.

I am no stranger to taking risks. I am one who most definitely encourages others on a regular basis to follow their heart, chase their dreams, and take risks as well. A risk that I have taken that sticks out the most to me is the one I took that involved me relocating to Franklin, TN to start a new life. I am originally from Raleigh, NC. That is where I spent 15 years of my life and where I basically grew up. Although Raleigh is a nice, safe, clean, and great area, I had gotten to the point where I was so restless and unfulfilled being there. I had done the whole going to college and getting a degree thing, I knew deep down that my soul wanted more. I didn’t want to be stuck in the hustle and bustle of the whole 9-5 thing. It didn’t resonate with me at all and I felt that there was a unique calling on my life. My lease was up for renewal in North Carolina in 2021 and I was faced with a choice. The choices were to A) Stay in Raleigh where I was deeply unfulfilled but comfortable or B) Follow my heart, take a risk and move all the way to TN where I knew no one and start a whole new life. I chose option B. If I’m being honest, it wasn’t easy at first but I regret nothing.

Anna, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is Anna and I am a content creator living in Franklin, TN. For as long as I can remember I have always been a free spirited individual drawn to all things colorful, bright, fun, and sparkly. Alongside that, I truly have a desire to make a difference, help, and encourage others as well. I decided to dive into content creating somewhat recently. Although I love what I am doing so far, I am very much still learning how to successfully build an online social media presence. It is challenging but I know that hard work, dedication, and consistency pays off. My goal is to be the biggest and most successful creator in the world. I see myself teaming up with like minded brands that I resonate with to create content, having my own apparel line that embodies all things love, positivity, glam, and rock n roll, while simultaneously also getting involved in motivational speaking.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding thing is to put a lot of time, effort and thought into creating something and then having someone reach out and say something a long the lines of “wow, I love this. I really needed to see this today. This really helped me! I know whether i’m having a good or bad day I can always count on coming to your page and getting a big dose of positivity.” You just can’t put a price on how good that feels.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

Aside from creating a successful life for myself, and doing what I love, I ultimately want my journey to be one of encouragement for others. I want people to look at me, hear my story, and think “Wow, this girl has gone through SO MUCH but still managed to overcome all of it and be successful and happy, If she can do it then so can I!”
