We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Anna Heid a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Anna, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you share an important lesson you learned in a prior job that’s helped you in your career afterwards?

When i was a PICU nurse, I learned how to critically think and time manage, You have to always be ready to handle the next task, and some are more urgent than others. I learned how to realize which tasks are most vital and that it is okay to do things out of order. You have to take on the most important think first, and then get to the rest. This has helped me in my job as an influencer because time management with brand deals is important. Not as important as nursing, but I can organize the deals by which is needed quickest.

Anna, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

i am a 25 year old content creator who lives in Charleston, South Carolina. I started my youtube channel sophomore year of college. I was cheerleading and in nursing shcool, and I captured this throughout my content. I started tiktok in 2019 and gained a bunch of followers while making fun videos on gamedays with my friends. I eventually sold presets which raised me enough money to study abroad. Throughout college I continued to grow my platforms. Post-grad I moved to New York City. I pursued content creation as well as nursing. After a year and a half, I moved to Charleston, SC. I felt more home here and all of my friends lived here. It was also closer to my family and a slower pace of life that i craved. I nursed for a little but eventually took a break so that I could focus on my content and traveling, and jut enjoying life in my 20s.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

my goal is to inspire others to do what makes you happy. weather its nursing, weather its not. I am choosing what makes me happy and I wish that for everybody.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

i think my college girl fanbase makes up the most of my following, a lot of young girls research what college they want to go to and find my videos. the coolest thing is when somebody comes up to me and says that I am the reaosn they chose this college.
