We were lucky to catch up with Anna Dubinskaya recently and have shared our conversation below.
Anna , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you think folks should manage their own social media or hire a professional? What do you do?
I embarked on my business journey through the vibrant world of social media, initially focusing on Instagram and gradually expanding to TikTok. These platforms have not only connected me with incredible customers but have also allowed me to cultivate a wonderful community of friends from what once were mere strangers.
The new generation and the influence of social media have transformed the landscape into a delightful avenue for creativity and an additional source of income.
As a content creator and editor, I’ve honed my skills and developed a deep understanding of social media. My experience has taught me that consistency and a well-defined brand within your niche are key to success. When you stay true to your vision, the right clients will naturally find their way to you. I do not have a team or employees at the moment, possibly in the future when i choose to expand. For now i am the content creator, editor, supply runner, baker etc.
Anna , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Anna Dubinskaya, I am 31 years old and I have always enjoyed art, i can say it has truly become a passion of mine. Learning to create edible art has been one of my greatest projects. I begin experimenting with baking luxury treats, and eventually perfected my skills to cater to specialized events for bridal showers, baby showers, engagement events and weddings. I pour my heart and soul into every custom project and if there is a misunderstanding or a client does not like the outcome of the order, i try my best to work with them and cater to their liking. What i believe sets me apart of other bakers in my field is my attention to detail and making all of the themes i work with into a luxury and lush piece of art in a dessert form. I feel the most crucial aspect to my business is the level of luxury I bring to all of my cakes and treats. I am so proud of the community i have built and the connections i have made through this little business of mine. Super grateful. The main things i want potential clients and followers to know about me and my brand: i always give my 100 percent and I can make your vision come to light.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I built my audience by being consistent with the content i share including helpful tips and tricks in the baking industry. The biggest advice I can offer for someone who is just starting out with social media whether it’s for content creation, or obtaining customers is to stay consistent and keep showing up. Your skill will grow and the high value clients will find you. By posting regularly, it creates trust with you and your client or followers. Try to post 3-5 times a week for ultimate growth.

I keep in touch with clients through social media, including Instagram and TikTok. I try to stay very active on both platforms. I have created the subscription content for whomever would like to join. I offer coaching, ask me anything, and to stay in touch.
