We recently connected with Ann-Sophie Hamilton and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Ann-Sophie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
I started coaching in 2021 after a few people started coming to me, asking if offered this service. I had always been naturally gifted at helping people get insight on certain topics like” Identifying things they are good at, sales, turning ideas into income and more. Back then, I was already organizing tours, excursions and trips but was starting to feel like something was missing. I soon realized that coaching was really what set my soul on fire. Seeing people go from confusion to a clear sense of direction filled me with great sense of purpose. So I thought to myself :Why not mix events and traveling (which were things I enjoyed) with coaching. That is how I went from doing simple excursions and trips to doing coaching trips and events where I take people to a different place to be coached and come back with clearer vision for their lives or business.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am Ann-Sophie Hamilton, a lover of life, good conversations and good food. I am a wife, mom, entrepreneur and Jesus lover.
I am also a life and business coach who makes it my mission to help others believe in their sauce and live a life and/or career that is authentic to them and the gifts God has placed inside of them.
From coaching to workshops, I offer a variety of services that equip people to walk confidently on the path they want to take. what sets these sessions apart is not only the laid back (but structured format) but also the fact that I make it easy for people to travel while being coached. It helps their minds expand and facilitates connections with other people along the way.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
I had t0 unlearn the idea that things needed to be extravagant to be fun. I used to pack the excursions and trips with so many things to do and not focus on what truly mattered. This led me to saving money in the wrong places and not spending enough in the right places. For example, for one the group trips I had planned back in the days, I focus on packing the schedule with activities and did not focus enough on comfort. The majority of the group ended up not being satisfied with the choice of hotels and the activities felt rushed. I had to learn the hard way that, it is better to focus on what matters and have less activities to allow people to breathe and enjoy. Things can be simple and fun at the same time

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I grew a lot on social media when I started making more capsule videos about faith. However what I think sustained this is the fact that I engage with people a lot through conversations, questions, and sharing things about myself that can help in a way or another. To anyone trying to build social media presence, I would say: Do not focus so much on strategy that you lose your essence. Also, strategy is important but make sure it is realistic and sustainable for you. Don’t take yourself seriously and enjoy the process. views should never come at the loss of your mental and emotionally stability
