Alright, Anitta thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.
I would say the biggest takeaway from my business is that I truly want it to be a one stop shop to everything. One of the biggest struggles I had experienced from helping plan events prior to this is that we were having to reach out to multiple, different vendors for each little thing. That only adds further travel costs, service fees, more contracts, and more communication lines on the day of. From my experience, the best thing is to have one person to contact to bring all the important items and ensure everything runs smoothly the day of rather than relying on multiple different teams. I also wanted to make sure all my packages were customizable to my client’s needs and wishes. Every event, every client, every detail is SO different, and I am a firm believer that event planning should be tailored to exactly what the client wants.
So far this has been a very rewarding journey, and I am looking forward to what’s in store next!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi! I’m Anitta, and I recently launched an event’s planning page, primarily focusing on event management and decorations- open to all different types of events! When I started probably goes all the way back to middle school where I fell in love with everything related to planning and coordinating events. I still remember my sweet 16 like it was yesterday- I remember thinking that was the biggest project at that time and it truly just became a passion that just always stuck with me even going into my adult life. Recently, we had a family wedding where I got to be heavily involved in all aspects of the planning and executing and my passion for this only continued to grow. Every event is so special- from birthdays to bridal showers to weddings- customizing all the details and paying attention to every small detail is truly what makes an event shine. I knew this year it was time to officially put it out there and that’s what started Anitta’s Events, LLC!

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My goal is to be a one stop shop for all things related to event planning and decorating. I love being creative and working with different party themes! I want to be able to customize my packages as much as possible where my client can rely on one vendor for everything.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
I primarily keep in touch with my clients via social media. I have been fortunate to also have several in person meetings with my clients too. I am usually always readily available and easy to reach and I think keeping that communication line accessible helps bridge any gaps and helps me engage with my clients more effectively. I think being able to continue to keep in touch with my clients even after an event and continuing to watch all their milestones in life unfold is probably what I am most proud of- being in a business like this can lead to lifelong friendships and that truly is a gift to cherish.
