Alright, Anissa thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?

My entire business is rooted in servitude — not just offering a service, but truly serving with heart, excellence, and intuition. One moment that stands out was when a dear client tragically lost her father. I was on vacation celebrating my birthday when I received her call at 5am, desperately needing emergency international travel arrangements. Without hesitation, I shifted into full concierge mode. While still on the phone, I coordinated transportation, completed immigration forms, and ensured every detail was seamless. I remained on the line until she boarded, offering not only logistics — but comfort and peace.

What she received wasn’t just a service; it was an experience of ease in the midst of chaos. She felt seen, valued, and cared for. That’s what my work is truly about — reducing the stress of life’s hardest moments and replacing it with grace.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I’m Anissa Brathwaite, the proud CEO and founder of AB&G Travel and Tours LLC and Anissa, LLC — two purpose-driven companies built on faith, integrity, and the mission to serve others with excellence. I wear many crowns: Business Achiever, Spiritual Dreamer, Global Empowerment Speaker, Co-Author, Licensed Healthcare Professional, and Airline Industry Retiree. In August 2023, I was honored to be crowned Ms. Internally Confident 2023, becoming the very first to ever hold the title within the You Within Yourself organization — and in doing so, I opened the path for others to follow.

I am a living testament to the power of divine purpose, entrepreneurial resilience, and the transformational value of global travel. I don’t just move people physically — I help them shift emotionally, professionally, and spiritually into alignment with their highest potential.

Born and raised in Panama, I left my homeland with courage and vision — traveling far from my roots to build a life, legacy, and brand that reflect grace, strength, and service. Every challenge I faced became a stepping stone. Every obstacle, an opportunity. My journey has been one of deep faith and high standards, and my businesses reflect that same duality: grounded in service, elevated in execution.

In 2013, I founded AB&G Travel and Tours LLC with a promise: “We are Committed To Helping You!” Whether I’m curating luxury international travel or responding to last-minute emergencies with full concierge support, I serve with excellence, empathy, and precision. My clients are not just supported — they are seen, valued, and cared for with intentional grace.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

My reputation is built on intentional experience. I didn’t just stumble into this — I studied the industry from the inside out. I’ve worked across multiple dimensions of the airline industry: ground operations, customer service, and as an in-flight crew member. That layered expertise gives me an edge — I know how every cog in the wheel turns.

But beyond the knowledge, it’s the heart I bring to the business that resonates. As an experienced entrepreneur, I lead with clarity, care, and commitment — which means my clients don’t just travel. They travel well, with understanding and full support. That’s how trust is built — through consistency, quality, and a heart to serve.

I’m equally excited to announce my upcoming fashion line that will serve esteemed Women to look and feel their best- whether traveling, entering the boardroom, or leisurely relaxing with friends.

God has blessed me with many gifts and I plan to use them all. Just wait!

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

As a woman who wears many crowns — entrepreneur, corporate professional, and spiritual guide — I’ve had to master the art of the pivot with grace. There were seasons when I was building a business, climbing the corporate ladder, and handling personal storms — all at once.

People often ask, “How do you do it?” The answer is simple, but powerful: prayer. I ask God for guidance in every step. I stay grounded through silence, structure, and intentional boundaries. Not everyone is meant to have access to your energy. Protecting your peace is a business strategy. Discipline, discernment, and divine alignment are my secret weapons.
