Anisa “Your Soul Awaits”, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Being a business owner can be really hard sometimes. It’s rewarding, but most business owners we’ve spoken sometimes think about what it would have been like to have had a regular job instead. Have you ever wondered that yourself? Maybe you can talk to us about a time when you felt this way?
Starting my own business and becoming a business owner was the best thing I done for myself. I honestly feel it’s the best thing ANYONE can do for themselves. There’s no greater feeling like following your dreams and aspirations and seeing the magic that resides in the journey towards your dreams.
Early in my journey of becoming a business owner, there were a few times that I found myself wondering about what my life would be like if I were still working for a regular job. At times I questioned if I should go back into what I call “the system” to work… there were times I kept hearing “oh you should apply for this job or that job”, “oh when are you going back to work”, “you need to work”… it was as if the outside was saying go backwards yet my spirit, my heart, my mind, body, & SOUL kept saying “keep going forward, no matter what”.
I came into this life with the motto: “Never Give Up, No Matter What” therefore, I listened to my inner guidance, my intuition and it’s all led me here!

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
Many times we here and see different narratives on how to be a successful business owner. Specifically for those of us who are entrepreneurs through social media – we often here about posting times, content, hashtags, algorithms, and so forth.
At first starting off can feel as if you are at the bottom of the totem pole. You may feel like you’re not good enough because you’re comparing yourself to someone elses journey & path.
The bigger picture here is to NOT compare yourself to others. We ALL are walking different paths. We ALL start our journeys at different times, therefore your journey or path will NOT look the same… in fact… it shouldn’t look the same! Many times business owners aren’t successful because they compare their business to another instead of following their journey, their path, their dreams and goals and allowing life to play out how it should for them on DIVINE TIMING.
The lesson I had to unlearn was that you do NOT have to post a ridiculous amount of times a day just to reach the right people or to grow your pages or to stand out… the lesson is to post when you FEEL inclined to post because believe it or not… you’re posting when YOU’RE MEANT TO. You’re sharing your messages, your stories, your insight, your guidance when you’re MEANT TO – through DIVINE TIMING.
Think about that time you saw that one motivational video that aligned with your current situation and it put your mind at ease… now think of the personal or “page” that posted it… they posted the content when they were MEANT to and you just so happen to see it at the “RIGHT” time…
There are NO such things as coincidences. Follow YOUR heart, follow YOUR intuition (gut feeling)… because it’s leading you to your DESTINY.
How did you build your audience on social media?
When I first created my business, I told myself “I do not want to go and follow random people, I want to attract in the right audience for my business”.
Despite the “time” it took for my audience to grow on social media, I continued striving forward no matter.
I knew that by attracting in the right audience it would take more time, dedication, and consistency. Once I stopped focusing on the numbers aspect of my business and simply followed through my mission THAT’S when I seen a shift.
When you’re planting a flower, a strawberry, a seed – you don’t sit and wait for it to grow every second of the day… you get up, you continue on with life and one day you notice the growth when you LEAST expect it. This mindset is what led my audience to grow on my social media platforms. I continued sharing my messages, being my authentic self, I didn’t focus on what wasn’t happening, rather I focused on what I wanted to happen and voíla! There it came.
