Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Anh Pham. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Anh, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
My most meaningful project that I’ve ever worked on is my press and media coverage with the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin and Gemäldegalerie because I received a rare opportunity to cover famous artworks from old masters as a young artist. I had creative residency in Berlin, Germany under contract to write for an independent publication (Arkive.co) as an independent writer.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My advertising background influences a commercial aesthetic yet anti-ad rhetoric within my work with support for advertisement and the commercial sphere in sustainable trends. I mix my creative identity between the DIY, commercial, and Fine Arts environment. I utilize up-cycled and secondhand items to extend my physical works into the public space with an emphasis in sustainable topics and process.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
To have awareness in more than one discipline that inspires the focus area of my subjects.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Output is the most rewarding aspect in being an artist, photographer and writer.
