We recently connected with Angie Carrizales and have shared our conversation below.
Angie, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you tell us a bit about who your hero is and the influence they’ve had on you?
My hero is someone who came into my life when everything was going down hill for me in life. He is the person who inspired me to open my business. My husband Cristian is who showed me that giving flowers is a way to show affection towards someone. Everytime he gave me flowers I realized how beautiful It felt receiving floral arrangements. My husband influenced me to want to spread love to others through making bouquets.

Angie, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Angie Carrizales a 20 year old florist. I’m located in the DFW area. I’m currently also a student obtaining my GED to then become a welder. My business is know for spreading love through our bouquets but also fitting to the clients budget if needed. We offer arrangements with crowns, customized ribbons, butterflies, stuffed animals and also chocolates. We’ve done Ramos buchones (large amount of flowers) with money. Also box arrangements with Eternals. We only don’t offer real roses but also eternal roses (ribbon flowers). We don’t want money to ever be a obstacle for not being able to give a bouquet to someone special. I’m proud of how much I’ve grown not only as a business women but overall a growing family.

Can you open up about a time when you had a really close call with the business?
As a florist there’s a day where no orders are placed. Sometimes we could go weeks without a bouquet order. Any business always has its downfalls. We always use our social media platforms to put our business more out there and grow everyday. We try to do events and also yard sales with our bouquets.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
I met my business partner/husband on a dating app back in 2023. He liked my profile and I liked his and that’s how we connected. We met March 12 and shortly after that he asked me to be his girlfriend. We managed to compliment our work and our marriage life.
