Angelle, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

Our mission is to inspire others to dream through style. When Noella Grace started the purpose was to sell affordable accessories for women. Now we’re on a mission to sell affordable accessories to men, women, and kids! We want every customer to look good but we don’t want them to break the bank either.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

Noella Grace started with myself and my good friend Tamika modeling accessories for women, eventually we felt it was important to add men and that’s when my friend Lemar came along. Now we’re in the process of adding a kids section.

Our business sells a nice selection of accessories that can easily enhance your wardrobe and we’re very proud of this.

Our slogan is, Look Expensive for Less.” Fashion should never ever break the bank and that’s what we promote.

We’d love to hear your thoughts about selling platforms like Amazon/Etsy vs selling on your own site.

We are an e-commerce business and we sell our products on two different platforms. The main platform is our personal website and we use Shopify to sell our products. The other platform that we use is Walmart.

The pros that come with having our website on Shopify is the ease that comes with tracking data and sales, building the website, and customization.

The main con with Shopify is that it doesn’t offer email hosting. Other than that, Shopify is perfect.

The pros of having our products on walmart.com is having the exposure and it helps with reaching a new customer base.

The cons with walmart.com is the process it takes in order to have your products seen. It definitely requires research and work.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?

The best advice that I can give for managing a team is to always be kind, listen, be a great communicator, and to lead with a sense of integrity.
