Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Angelina Spiropoulos. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Angelina, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
Making the decision to expand Nest Seekers International into the Boston market was a bold move — one that required vision, strategy, and the willingness to take on a challenge that could redefine our presence in the city.
The real estate market in 2023 was a difficult one to be in for most agents. By 2024, about 70% of agents did not do a single transaction that year. It was late 2023 when I felt a need for some change. I never considered myself just a real estate agent. I always tried to view my career from a more dynamic perspective, as I wear a lot of different hats (entrepreneur, agent, podcast host, social media influencer, writer, etc). When you zoom out and choose to view things from more of a macro point of view, the hard times don’t seem quite as daunting. While everyone was sweating about interest rates remaining at a stubborn 7-8%, my mind was on something bigger: expanding an international brokerage into a new market. I saw an opportunity to build something lasting — positioning Nest Seekers International for success beyond the market fluctuations that always and will continue to rise and fall.
I did some research and it didn’t take me long to find the highest producing and largest team at the company, The Masters Division. Founded by Bianca D’Alessio, the team is ranked #1 in New York City and #14 in the nation, having sold over $2B in sales. I loved that the team had already expanded its presence into other domestic and global markets, and their heavy focus on new development. I also was licensed in NY and had a burning desire to expand my business there naturally with a team that would provide me with the support I needed. I saw a lot of opportunity there from many angles. I figured, as a 24-year-old agent living in our current market conditions, what did I have to lose by reaching out and seeing if there was something here? I decided to take the risk and let my vision of what I knew had the potential to come to life surpass the possibilities of how it could also fail or flop. I let the creative possibilities and my belief in the company, the innovation, and faith in myself, outweigh the fear of risk.
I emailed Bianca directly who could not have been more thrilled to jump on the opportunity and partner to make the expansion happen. Truthfully, it happened very quickly and it was the first time I put myself in such a position. There were many turning points, moments of discomfort that required patience and reflection, and points where I wondered if I made the right choice. It was a challenge for sure, but it was the most perfect challenge that I would do all over again if I could. It tested my resilience, my work ethic, and my grit to levels I would have never imagined. Breaking an international brand into a new market was a strategic decision that needed to be executed in collaborative efforts with the right people, and I knew that if this was going to work, that had to be a top priority. So to not let the risk of having it all slip through our fingers, really keeping that top of mind every single day was vital. The following year when we opened the doors to our physical storefront office was when I finally had the epiphany of bringing the vision to life, and it made all of hard work so worth it. And this is just the beginning. We’re continuing to push boundaries, elevate our market presence, and create new opportunities for growth in Boston, New York, and beyond.
Angelina, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I bring a unique combination of expertise, energy, and creativity to the world of real estate, with a focus on luxury sales, rentals, and new development. I’m licensed in both Massachusetts and New York and work with buyers, sellers, renters, developers, and investors in both the Greater Boston and New York City markets, leveraging the dynamic synergy between these two thriving real estate hubs. I’m known for my relentless drive, meticulous attention to detail, and seamless ability to navigate these markets, and I consistently deliver results that exceed my clients’ expectations.
I’m a Massachusetts native and my passion for real estate was sparked early on, influenced by my father’s career as a builder. This upbringing instilled in me a profound appreciation for architecture, interior design, and the intricacies of the development process. I have a background in marketing, event planning, and sales, and I leverage a rare skill set that allows me to craft innovative strategies and achieve exceptional outcomes for my clients.
Beyond real estate, I am the host of The AHA! Moment Podcast, a personal development show that brings together thought leaders and innovators to share inspiring stories and practical insights. I love using my digital presence to create community, spark conversations, meet new people, and continuously keep learning and expanding my outlook.
Outside of real estate, I’m an avid fitness enthusiast, with a passion for solidcore, running, and pilates. I also incorporate my love for dance into my routine to stay both physically active and creatively inspired. Whether I’m exploring new culinary experiences, traveling to exciting destinations, or spending quality time with family and friends, I am devoted to my professional and personal passions and try to keep them intertwined to promote balance in my life as much as possible.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Your first impression can easily be your last impression in any industry. But I also am a firm believer in consistent follow through. Anyone can talk the talk (especially in real estate). But to do what you say you’re going to do, no matter what, speaks volumes. Maintaining that integrity builds trust with everyone and now they don’t just know you or like you, but they trust you. And if you want to get any deal to the finish line, or attract more clients, or maintain your reputation which is your most valuable asset you can bring, you have to know how to always be a person of their word and deliver.
Another thing that I think has really helped me is knowing how to connect with other people. Learning when to stop talking and just listen, figuring out how to be the most interested person in the room rather than the most interesting person in the room, and trusting my gut when I feel alignment with someone or something. It’s something that I really value as I continue to expand my sphere of influence and I know that when it comes to building my reputation, it turns into something that others value as well. Humans need connection naturally, and navigating how to best create that impact is something that I know has become a real part of who I am authentically.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
For me, building something sustainable was my top priority when it came to my brand. So it took a while to build my audience, and I was OK with that. I didn’t and still don’t post every single day, but I’m consistent with my routine of when I do post and I do what works for me so I don’t burnout or give up. I wanted to connect with people via social media in ways that were about real estate and other parts of myself that made me, me. That includes being a foodie, being passionate about movement, and personal development. I keep my pillars very close to who I am and have been able to maintain them for the most part for years now. So today, even if someone has never met me, they know what I’m all about, and they want to know more. They want to connect because they feel like they can relate to me in some way, they’re inspired by whatever I’m sharing, or they’re just curious about my passion.
People love what other people are passionate about. Your enthusiasm oozes out of you, and others can feel that energy. Don’t worry about coming off any other certain way. If you are genuinely passionate about something, if you’re an expert or advocate for something you care about, scream it from the mountaintops. Leverage it, get creative, and let yourself share it with the world. Visibility is your responsibility, and not sharing your gifts with others via social media and your personal brand is doing everyone (including you) a disservice!
