We were lucky to catch up with Angela Lenhardt recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Angela , thanks for joining us today. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
I intuitively knew I needed to share my Faith-based life’s experiences. And I also knew I had to share them authentically to inspire others to follow their soul’s path. But to put myself out there, in my memoir, felt like a huge risk, as well as overcoming the fear of criticism.
After-all, it’s our life experiences that mold us. I faced a series of challenges beginning around the age of 14, as my path forced me to live in a foster home a few years. But this is where I learned how to follow my intuition and connect with my courage and inner Strength.
Looking back, as an adult, I can see how those challenges were really blessings and a part of God’s plan for my life. Once I understood this lesson, I felt called to teach others on how they, too, can overcome their adversities.
I have to admit, it hasn’t always been easy. There was a time in my life when I felt like a “train wreck.” Nothing was working and I was always chasing something better for myself. Then a “peace” came over me and I committed to transforming my life from the inside out. I trusted God to get me through it all. And from my experience God works and the power of prayer is real. (The photo of me wearing blue depicts this truth. While I was praying over Trigger while saying the Lord’s Prayer, unbeknownst to me, my friend Cathy, snapped this photo with her iPhone. A picture is worth a thousand words.)
Angela , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Publishing the book, Trigger the Wonder Horse was defiantly a challenge that required me to be resilient! My computer was stolen out of my truck before I was able to send my manuscript to my editor. Luckily, my manuscript was saved on the “cloud.” I couldn’t buy another computer immediately, therefore I was forced to go to the library or use my phone, which made the editing process extremely difficult and exhausting. Regardless, the book was finally published and became a best-seller. And to this day, I’m continuously driven to share our message of hope, healing and miracles.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I’ve approached building my social media presence as if I genuinely wanted to make friends. I invested in getting to know people by watching their lives and commenting when I felt inspired. While I realize it’s a virtual “world” there is a human being behind the keyboard, and most of us are doing the best we can with the tools we have. I’m also a “real” person who makes mistakes, but I post and share trying to use humor and grace.
