Angela, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
Being successful is a journey , it’s patience ,it’s a love for what you do every single day ,being successful can be very hard days and nights of work. Being successful can be so sweet when you see the faces of all the people you have made so very happy the of an event. For me, a mentor is a must . Every business owner I believe need that push and support of someone who have been in business for years and will tell you the truth with being very transparent with the truth . I thank God for my Mentor . No I am not here to talk about money because I believe that will come with the love of your work . Now that is being Successful .

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
(1985) In college I started helping a friend with her wedding, I did not have a clue what to do but love the thought of seeing someone happy on such a special day in their life . From there I started doing my home work on event planning and many years later I am now a business owner of VenUAK 1 and VenUAK2
How did you build your audience on social media?
Thank God for social media . For me I was posting my work every other day on all platforms to the point people was sick of trying to figure out who this AK lady is . Elegant and Class is my trade mark for all of my work and from there people started talking and referring .
Can you open up about how you funded your business?
Now this was sooooo hard , my saving gone, Shopping -NO, Eating out -just didn’t happen. I made VenUAK look amazing from thrift stores . The rental companies that was selling there old tables and chairs , with beautiful covering you never saw the oldness. Still today I am working on new product to showcase to clients. Your work never stop when you love what you do.
Remember step out of faith –that’s what I did .
