We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Angela Gaston a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Angela , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

My company mission is to reach those that noone would think twice about, and to shine the light on each individual talents. Rather through Sports, Short Film, Interview, Pictures, and Marketing.

My Mission is “We Do This For You”
I understand how it feels to be rejected, brokenhearted, abused, homeless, exploited as a child, fatherless, and this list goes on.

My assignment is to reach those that are/have walked down a similar path that I have through telling my testimony to bring them closer to Christ to be made as I am.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I started the business because I wanted to help others that was just as good as the ones that was getting all the media exposure.

My Platform was started way back in 2010 with “Embracing Love-Mentoring” in which I hand out journals to the youth that are dealing with most of the issues I was dealing with when I was their ages. Along with telling my testimony I was able to help many kids over come angry issues & more.

The journals are for them to write down anything they may be facing that may throw them off path.

Fast forward I was invited on a Radio show to talk about Mental Health after the show I started my Podcast called
“Real Talk with Angela Blessed ” now I’ve changed the name to
“The Angela Blessed Show” that was birth in 2019 on that Platforms we talk about real life issues, missing persons & children, Interviews music Artists & Business Owners.

In 2020 I started a internet Radio Station called “Vurtuous Radio” on this Platform we Play old School Music R&B, Hiphop, Softrock, Country Music, and Podcasts

Right behind that I Created a Sports Podcast called “Jive Talk Sports Podcast ” also in 2020 on that Platform we interview Pro Sports players such as Football, Boxing, Wrestling, Basketball, and Baseball. We also do short film sports highlights. Also me have A&G Sports Marketing in which we are a Independent Certified in Marketing Sports Athlete & Branding, and Sports Events

Also this 2023 we added on Vurtuous Gospel Radio Station in which we play Gospel Music, Encouraging Words, Interviews, and Podcast.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

The lesson I had to unlearned was that I wasn’t going to be a product of the my messed up environment.

As I look back on my life with all the things that have happened to me I wouldn’t thought in a thousand years God would have me mentoring to the youth that was just like me growing up..

Nor have my own Talk Show, because at a very young age I had a very bad speaking problem, nor could I read until in my late 20″s.

People can change, but it’s up to that individual to keep fighting to maintain ones peace, joy, and happiness. I had to change for the sake of my children, and for the ones I’m assigned to in life.
