We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Angela Christine. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Angela below.
Angela, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I believe that relationship building is the cornerstone of success. When launching a business, particularly in a new city, having a trusted support network can make all the difference. Genuine relationships are built by consistently showing up for others, earning their trust, and demonstrating reliability. In turn, this creates a natural cycle of referrals and opportunities.
For us, the first year wasn’t about making money—it was about immersing ourselves in the community and expanding our network. We focused on building meaningful connections, often doing work for free or on a trade basis. This approach paid off over time, as it laid the foundation for steady, sustainable business growth. Success, in our experience, starts with investing in people and relationships.

Angela, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Las Vegas Parents Club was born during a significant transition in my life after seven years in corporate tech at Meta. Sticking to social media and digital content, the timing felt perfect as my first child was born and we relocated to a new city to explore. This inspired the launch of LasVegasParentsClub.com—a digital magazine designed for parents traveling through or living in Las Vegas.
The website highlights key categories such as Eat, Play, Stay, People, Wellness, and Shop, serving as a resource for parents. Beyond the website, we’ve fostered a sense of community by organizing events with local businesses, building connections among parents, supporting small businesses, and educating families on everything Las Vegas has to offer. From fun playdates to romantic date nights, our mission is to provide value and inspiration to parents navigating life in this vibrant city.
What sets us apart is our ability to blend community building with curated content, creating a space where families feel informed, supported, and connected. I’m incredibly proud of the camaraderie we’ve built within our community and our efforts to highlight and uplift local businesses.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
I met my good friend Lindsay DeLong, the founder and editor of Laguna Beach Living, in the most serendipitous way. We first crossed paths in Japan, of all places, while I was living there and she was visiting as a flight attendant. We both happened to be at the same house party and, as two Americans in a foreign country, naturally struck up a conversation. We hit it off immediately, but life took us in different directions, and we lost touch after that brief encounter.
Fast forward five years, and fate brought us together again—this time at a restaurant in Long Beach, California. To our surprise, we discovered we were now neighbors, living just a few streets apart! From that moment on, we became inseparable friends, spending weekends together and supporting one another through various life and career milestones.
Lindsey has been instrumental in helping me launch Las Vegas Parents Club. Her expertise and vision, which also led her to create the City Living Network to empower others to build city-focused platforms in their own regions, have been invaluable. To this day, we hold monthly meetings to share knowledge, brainstorm ideas, and support each other’s journeys. Our friendship and partnership have truly been a cornerstone of my professional growth.
