Angela, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the best advice you ever gave to a client? How did they benefit / what was the result?
The best advice I give all my clients are to stay focused and not compare themselves to others. This has really helped a lot of them accomplish their financial goals. I have been able to see clients pay off debt, purchase the car of their dreams and become a first-time home buyer. It is really satisfying to be able to see their hard work and dedication pay off.

Angela Castillo the owner and creator of Castillo Financial Consulting. I am a native Houstonian and alumna from the Texas Southern University. My company’s focus is to educate and help individuals meet their financial goals. I’ve always liked numbers especially analyzing incomes, expenses and creating budgets, that is the reason I majored in accounting and started my business.
Whether is through one-on-one service, purchasing my financial planners or me being a guest speaker, my mission is to make sure individuals are able to learn about the importance of financial literacy in a convenient, consistent and relatable way. I am my proudest when my clients are excited about their results and dedication, it really motivates me to continue to run my business.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source of new clients for me has been word of mouth, all my clients have told me that someone has referred them, I LOVE IT!
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I believe what has helped me build my reputation within my marker is my quality of service. I not only help individuals accomplish their financial goals, but I also make sure I explain, and they understand the importance of having a health financial profile. My motto is always quality over quantity when it comes to making sure my clients are successful.
