Alright, Anduy thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s been one of the most interesting investments you’ve made – and did you win or lose? (Note, these responses are only intended as entertainment and shouldn’t be construed as investment advice)
The best investment we can make in life is turning a talent into a source of income. In my case, Art became my best way share my ideas, talent and feelings while I invest and make money.
Art is one of those many talents that can be used to grow and advance. Making an initial investment implies not only having some money to start, but spending months and even years to master all the techniques, learning the methods and having a general idea of each aspect to be drawn.
Once you specialize, you look for a way to generate income, whether creating custom works, selling your original creations, or even teaching others how to create art. There are many ways to capitalize on your talent.
In my case, it was about 6 years the time I invested to learn and acquire all the necessary knowledge to teach correctly. At first, It became difficult to find places to be an art teacher, I was a 17-year-old boy when I started teaching and I must admit that on certain occasions, the young person is underestimated just because of his age and his knowledge is not taken into account. That condition closed many doors for me at the beginning. I went to introduce myself to many places in my country Venezuela, also in Peru , the other country where I lived before the United States, I have to say that all the work in that time was not successful.
I decided not to give up along the way and started teaching by my own. The first students I had gave me the opportunity to do a good job teaching and they share their opinion to other people and new students arrived, at the point that I was able to establish my own art studio with already about 240 active students and 764 students who finished their studies, they are located in 13 different countries since the classes have been online and face-to-face.
My own work let me be taken in count by others that gave me opportunities and currently, I am working with two art academies as well. It has been a really long path, seven years since the beginning and all I say is that this has been the best investment I ever made in life. With art I have traveled a lot, I have met an incredible amount of nice people so far, I have shared my talent in different countries through social media, newspapers, magazines even on TV in Univision Orlando, Panamericana TV and America TV in Peru.
An investment takes time, what a better way to spend time than doing something you love to do!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I was Born in Merida, Venezuela. As a child, I began to develop a great interest in the visual arts, participating in several art courses. At the age of 15, motivated by the artworks of different
artists I followed on social networks, I proposed starting with my first realistic drawing
practices. A year later, I had the opportunity to take courses in artistic drawing and architectural drawing
with the former professor of the University of Los Andes, Architect Ronald Skinner, who taught me
everything related to the principles of design, use of various techniques and other topics. At age 17, I
began working as an art drawing teacher at the Hacienda El Pilar cultural center, where I taught to
children, youth and adults how to draw and paint, for two years. In December 2017, I decided to start
my own drawing studio and personal project called “Goliat Art Studio” in my city.
With the beginning of the crisis in Venezuela, I traveled to Arequipa, Peru in January 2018. There, I
announced my work in several places, being able to be interviewed on April 26, 2018 by Marisol Mercado,
in the TV show called DE TODO UN POCO by Panamericana TV Peru channel 2. That opportunity allowed
me to reach more interested people in my art, among them some young people and adults who later
became in my students. In May 2018, I began teaching again in a studio, where I taught drawing
and painting workshops. On October 25 and 26, 2018, I participated in one of the biggest entertainment
events in Arequipa, GAME PRO-TOUR 2018 with two of my students, giving manga, anime and realistic
drawing workshops to the public. On November 9th, I was interviewed in the TV Show called LA
CARCOCHA by América TV channel 10.
I traveled to Orlando, Fl, in March 2019, where I live right now. In addition, I am a member of the Tertulia
Cuatro Gatos, a cultural group that is present in the libraries of the Orange and Osceola county in Florida.
With these, I have been able to show my artworks in places like the Mexico Consulate in Orlando and the
University of Central Florida. In May 6, 2020, I was interviewed by Reinaldo Oliveros of the Venezuelan
Newspaper El Diario, a national newspaper that has spread his work and story in Venezuela. On May 14,
I taught the Online conference “drawing ideas” with the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF)
for students of the Iberoamerican University Torreón. Right now, I has developed an online academy
that has students in United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Peru and other countries. In September 2020 and 2021, I was interviewed in Univision TV Show “Despierta Orlando” as one of the latin artists in Central Florida. I have participated in several exhibits with CABETCAL, Osceola Arts, CityArts, Casselberry Art House, Seminole Cultural Arts, Venezolanos en Sandford and Fusion Fest Orlando.
My artworks represents light and life, recreating everything in a realistic style, a combination between different techniques such as crayolas, graphite, colored pencils and others to take advantage in tones, shadows and light effect in the artwork. My inspiration of everyday are my parents, family, friends and traveling, it helps me a lot to be focused and keep the energy for creating.
Currently Goliat Art Studio offers two types of courses: individual classes or group courses. For the first type, the individual classes focuses on the area and style the student would like to develop and the techniques. All the lessons depends on the experience they may have, the skills on every technique and also the practice. For the group courses there are different levels depending on the experience the student has: beginner, intermediate and Advance and also there are courses focused on general topics such as: Human figure, Portrait drawing, landscaping, animal figure, drawing with colored pencils and others. In this cases, the classes are a maximum group of 10 people per session, using zoom platform. Classes are recorded so they can have access again to the explanation and process when they want to.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
There is a very beautiful mission that always maintains the energy to continue creating and teaching, which is to transmit everything I have learned with great care to as many people as possible, for telling them that art, in addition to being a hobby, can be taken as a job and even as a life style. Art allows us to heal wounds that are not physical, it allows us to show the world our emotions and in my case it taught me to never give up on my migration process to two different countries. Knowledge and experiences are to be shared with everyone, better if they help others to grow and reach even higher, achieving their dreams. All I have to say is that helping someone in their life growth is an amazing job.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Being recognized, to the point that people are excited to meet you and have something to tell and share. I think it is very rewarding in this art world to do public relations with many people, all of this opens doors to many possibilities and to be able to make dreams come true.
Also that your artworks, where you captured your feelings and emotions, occupy a special place in the office or home of people, it is very gratifying that this part of you may be notable in other places.
