We were lucky to catch up with Andrii Shtrom recently and have shared our conversation below.
Andrii, appreciate you joining us today. The first dollar your business earns is always special and we’d love to hear how your brand made its first dollar of revenue.
It’s quite an amusing tale, recalling how we secured our first client outside of our immediate network. At the outset, we were virtually unknown in the industry, which made acquiring that first client a challenge due to our lack of established credibility. Nevertheless, we were undeterred. We curated a list of businesses that aligned perfectly with our expertise and took an old-school approach: door-to-door visits.
That’s how we encountered our first client – one of the biggest Barber Supply distributers in North America. As we knocked on their door and began discussing the potential advantages of our services tailored to their needs, the owner listened. Remarkably, he saw the potential in us from day one. They not only became our first genuine client but also served as a testament to our capabilities, giving us a credibility boost in those early days. We’ve walked a long path together, and we’ve delivered on our promises.
We’ve now collaborated with them for over two years. What began as basic social media management has blossomed into a comprehensive partnership encompassing consulting, branding, content creation, and expansive social media management. Their belief in us from that first meeting remains one of our fondest memories, marking the genuine commencement of our journey
Andrii, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am the founder of Shtrom Creative, a full-scale creative marketing agency with a unique ethos and a clear mission: to ensure that our clients stand out in today’s saturated market. I established SHTROM Creative with the aspiration of challenging the norm and transforming conventional marketing strategies into something extraordinary.
Our inception was driven by the observation that many businesses were opting for a quieter, more understated approach to marketing. I saw an opportunity to disrupt this trend and infuse the industry with a dose of creativity, inspiration, and motivation. We set out to be the catalyst that puts our clients to the forefront of their industries, helping them to leave a lasting impression and a significant footprint.
We prefer to collaborate with brands that possess a global vision and an earnest desire to scale and make an impact. Our suite of services encompasses content creation, content marketing, video production, paid advertisement services, branding, and consulting. However, we are more than just a collection of services; we are a reminder to our clients that in order to truly stand out and showcase their identity, they must dare to be different, dare to show their real identity.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective strategy for us in building a strong clientele has always been to consistently deliver on our promises and actively scale our clients. Our work and results are testament to our commitment, and quite frankly, the numbers we deliver to our clients speak for themselves when it comes to the sales and brand awareness
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
We touch base with our clients over the phone at least once a week. This frequent communication is particularly crucial for paid media, as we need to be consistently updated on what’s happening in our clients’ businesses, including promotions, sales, and other key developments.
