Alright, Andrew Elmore thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. One of the most important things we can do as business owners is ensure that our customers feel appreciated. What’s something you’ve done or seen a business owner do to help a customer feel valued?
…a client trusting enough to talk to me about her current situation in her marriage. In return I took a chance and listened. Truly asked God for the guidance to represent Him in my Best. Gave my input on the situation and from there, I feel like I gave hope to their situation. I believe the end result was Reassurance in God and her Husband

ABOUT ME: …born Andrew Elmore Jackson III, this creation of Love has become a soldier in the spreading of this Gospel. Influenced by Music and Design at the tender age of 7, Drew has matured and combined these two loves into his way of Life. His music teachers were his Mother, Joan A. Jackson and Odell’s “you’ll know if you belong” – Baltimore’s #1 Club for Disco and House in the early eighties. He was later taught how to Mix and Blend these musical sounds using turntables by Steve Arrington. Between finding the time to decorate his room every month to perfecting his craft, drew’s H O U S E was born. After graduating from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and taking a year of Carpenter Apprenticeship, Andrew moved to Atlanta to attend The Art Institute of Atlanta to later receive a degree in Interior Design. After working almost 18 years for Renaissance Tile & Bath in Atlanta, drew’s H O U S E is now building its foundation here in Nashville…let God’s Love lead the way as drew’s talents are shared with Life.

DESIGN – our Expression – it begins with the first hello between designer and client. This exchange means everything. OPEN is the feeling your client should feel from you – the Designer. It is our job to bring ideas and personalities together to bring a warmth of Self into the area being Designed and Decorated. For the time it takes to decide on a pair of shoes, a suit, an automobile, that type of time and consideration should be taken in the decisions to Design and Decorate your Home, your Foundation, your Peace of Mind and Rest.
My mission in Life is simple; I want to share the Deep Passion I have developed for the Creative Zones in my Life with the World.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Saying to myself, after two attempts to go out on my own, there is no going back or falling back this time. You will make this business work regardless. Some of the joys (pains) in doing so was not being able to do the activities I was used to like traveling, eating out, eating specific foods at home, basically going on a tight budget.
I did what was needed in ethical ways and allowed myself to submit to different until I could go back to my lifestyle from before and also understanding that may not be the case either, having the Peace to wake up and make my time was the greatest gift from it all.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
My Fellowship in my work. That means instead of finishing the job at hand, COMPLETING IT!
There is a big difference in that, Clients want to Trust you in their Homes and that’s usually my firs thing to cater to. And then from there, make sure when I leave there are no questions or unfinished business, I take things in my own hands and get things that were unseen taken care of. My clientele expect the best so I make sure I treat everything pertaining to my project that way. That’s also another way to make long relationships with other skilled patrons. I use them, they use me, We all Help One Another,
