We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Andrew Domville. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Andrew below.
Andrew, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
You can’t go through life without facing adversity; it’s part of the human condition and helps us, as people, carry out our purpose. I see trials and tribulations as mere progressions in our development. These are not things to evade; these are things to be welcomed. And when we’re understanding enough and bold, success will be there with a loving embrace, residing at the intersection of where responsibility meets tenacity. To be successful, you have to set your aim on something, and despite the various setbacks that may follow suit when pursuing this endeavor, you continuously go after it fully and unapologetically. The way I see it, the only way to hit a target is by having one in the first place. I aim to build REVVIRE, our media company, into a mass media company with worldwide significance. And believe me, I won’t miss the target. If it means working day in and day out towards this goal, I can safely say that I will gladly do so.

Andrew, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Born and raised in South Florida, I grew up with an active imagination. And brimming with inventiveness from head to toe, I always found tremendous joy in inhabiting the make-believe. This is where I found solace and acceptance in my creative inclinations. Having a knack for storytelling and an enormous adoration for all things cinema, I knew as a child I wanted to be a filmmaker. I graduated from Full Sail University with a Bachelor of Science in Film in the spring of 2016. After graduation, I freelanced as a producer and editor for several years, working on various projects for budding entrepreneurs and small businesses. And then I had an idea, one that would possess me. This idea was to create a mass media company that was all-inclusive, well-established, and would have global implications. In January 2021, I Founded REVVIRE alongside Co-Founder Mitchell Waugh. REVVIRE is a new, robust media company with a heightened focus on worldwide impact. We produce media for each of our partners, comprising brands, agencies, and artists. REVVIRE also has a designated division for our original independently produced content, “Presents.” We solve visibility and marketing issues by generating considerable awareness through the power of content creation. The world as we know it is becoming more digitalized than ever before. And it’s through media that your consumers can be reached, and your missions can be heard. I am proud of the company culture and the community we’re establishing with REVVIRE. My team and I work endlessly to create a safe environment where collaboration is fruitful. Everyone has a voice at our company.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Most filmmakers aspire to make at least one feature film in their career. I’ve been engrossed in cinema since the day I could talk. And it has always been a goal of mine to make feature films on a theatrical level. At the beginning of 2020, I set out to write, produce, and direct my first-ever feature film, “Menagerie Affair.” My producers and I were in the process of securing funding for the film, and everything seemed to be going according to plan. And then COVID-19 hit. The pandemic proved to be strange and unpredictable, and due to this, we lost a few of our investors.
Before the pandemic, I spent numerous months in pre-production on the film, honing the script and attaching talent to the project. And with each passing day, it felt like the project was progressively slipping outside my grasp, but I knew I had to make this film. It would be a disservice to my cast and crew if I were to give up on the project. I decided to dip into my savings and reach out to loved ones for additional funding. Thankfully, I was able to raise enough capital for production. Adhering to the COVID-19 protocols, we shot the film in the summer of 2020, spanning seven days. Producing “Menagerie Affair” was one of the most challenging things I have ever had to do, and it tested me in more ways than one. It’s taken three years, but I’m happy to announce “Menagerie Affair” officially wrapped post-production this year, July 2023. The film is now on track to premiere at a few film festivals and is the first feature film in an overall slate of movies to be featured and distributed by REVVIRE.
